I’ve always wanted to write romance novels. Ever since I was a little girl. I’m often asked if I have to think about different things to say. The answer is no. The words are automatically there inside of my head. I loved writing this book and I was at peace with myself. I too have been asked how I can write so much. It’s easy. I love to write. My mother passed away in June of 1994. She was the center of my life. But as you know God comes first as he would in all of our lives. I miss her very much, and I know she would be very proud of me. Just as I was of her. I also have two special children. Dwayne, Amethyst, and granddaughter Talitha. And I’m very proud of them, and I love them very much. I want to thank everyone for buying my book, and I promise to bring more exciting romance to you as the years come.

    CHAPTER 1

O NE WARM NIGHT, WHILE SIPPING Champagne and r elaxing, Andrea was thinking about the first time she set eyes on Nicholas Reed. She thought this would be the man of her dreams. He was a handsome well-dressed man; the businessman type. Nicholas was well respected in community. Andrea lived in Brownwood, a small town in the heart of Texas. Where she graduated, and went on to finish college at Howard Payne University. There she majored in law. She joined the law firm of Jackson, and Davis in the town where she grew up. When Andrea arrived at work there was a Mr. Nicholas Reed waiting to see her boss Mr. Jackson about and oil lease from the company that he worked for. After their business was concluded, Mr. Reed left one of his business cards with Andrea. He told her if she was ever in the Los’ Angeles area please feeling free to give him a call. After that he left. The day had grown late, and everyone was leaving. She turned off her computer and headed for home. After a hard day at work she relaxed in a hot tub of water with soft music at her head. Andrea honey dinner is ready. When she walked into the kitchen she saw a little kitten. Oh mom it’s pretty. Do you like her honey? Yes. Andrea picked the kitten up and just held her. I love it mom. Her mom just smiled. Andrea what are you going to name her? What about fluffy? I like that honey. Andrea got ready for bed. The first thing she did was pray that she would see Nick’s face again, are even hear his voice. After praying she drifted off to sleep. The next morning when Andrea got to work, her phone rings. She picked up the receiver and said, Jackson and Davis Law firm, may I help you? When the voice spoke, she could not believe it. Yes, she said. "This is Nicholas Reed from the Stephen and Wilson Law Firm. Yes Mr. Reed I remember you. What can I do for you? Mr. Jackson forgot to sign a very important paper when I was there yesterday. If it’s ok I would like to have the paper fax to him. All he has to do is sign it and fax it back to us. I’ll make sure he gets it Mr. Reed. Thank you. You’re welcome. As the day went on all she could hear was Nick’s voice ringing in her ears. Andrea had to talk to someone about this very handsome man, so she went to talk to Terry a very good friend of hers. She wanted to talk about a man she didn’t even know. Hi Andrea. Hi Terry what’s wrong? I need to talk to you about a man I met yesterday. He is definitely a breath taker. Andrea who is this man? He is the best looking guy I have seen in a long time. He’s everything a woman, or should I say, could ever ask for in a man. And I don’t know if I will ever see him again. He did leave his business card. Maybe someday we will meet again. A year had passed and she was still thinking about Nicholas Reed. She had dated a few guys, but no one she will consider special. She was a very beautiful woman, with long blonde hair, pretty blue eyes very petite, well dressed, and very s mart.

    CHAPTER 2

A FTER WORK ONE DAY SHE went home to her family, tired from a long day at work only wanted to soak in a hot tub the water. The phone rang. And her mom answered it. Honey phone call for you. Who is it mom? I’m in the shower. It’s Terry. Tell her I would call her back later. Okay dear. I wonder what Terri wants. As she stepped out of the shower standing in front of the mirror looking at her long blonde hair, slim body, flat stomach, long legs and pretty toes she couldn’t help but smile. She was a beautiful woman. She lotion her body, starting from her neck, arms, the tip of her nipples, all the way down to her toes. She then called Terry. Mom told me you called. What’s up? Would you like to go to a party with me? Nothing formal. Well Terry I’m really ready for bed, maybe we can do this another time. Okay Andrea talk to you later. Bye. Andrea your father and I would like to talk to you. Honey your father and all planning a vacation for the two of us. And we wanted to let you know. That’s great mom where are you going? We talked about Hawaii. That sounds great guys. When are you leaving? Saturday. That soon? Well I hope you two have fun. Thanks honey. Well I’ll say good night, and I love you two very much. Early the next morning Andrea was off to work. Good morning Terry. How was the party? Any eligible bachelors, she asked? Are you kidding. They were coming in by the truckload. Sorry I missed it maybe next time. I know Andrea you only have one man on your mind, Mr. Nicholas Reed. Andrea he’s thousands of miles away from here. And you don’t know if he’s single. I know. But I can dream can’t I. The week went by quickly, and the weekend was there. And it was time for the big trip. Mom and Dad are you ready to go to the airport? Ready honey. They arrived at the Apple on time. As they said their goodbyes, Andrea told her parents that she loved them knowing that they loved her back. They embraced each other and say goodbye. As she watched the plane take off a tear dropped to her cheek. She waved and returned to her car. Andrea turned the radio on, and heard the news of a plane crash. The same plane her parents were on. The news said the plane went down 20 miles from the airport. She quickly return to the airport to find out that it was her parent’s plane that had went down. As the family of the victims gather together they were excoriated to a conference room by a police officer. Everyone took their seats. More tears filled Andrea’s eyes, as she thought about her parents, and the last words she said to them. She had told them that she loved them. The police officer was telling them that, no one survived the plane crash that was on flight 157. The plane crashed into a mountain shortly after leaving the runway. She knew she would not make it through the rest of the day so and officer drove her home. She called Aunt Mary and told her what happened. For a moment everything was silent. Aunt Mary are you okay? Honey I’m find. How are you? In shock. I can’t believe they are gone. Don’t worry dear, your Uncle and I or on our way. Thank you Aunt Mary. Two hours later Aunt Mary and Uncle John arrived at Andrea’s home. As soon as the door open, She rushed over and embraced them both. Don’t cry dear, Everything will be all right. I know it hurts, I’m hurting to. She was my only sister. Andrea sweetheart do you feel like talking about it? I don’t know what I feel, I don’t know if I can. She sobbed. Try honey, tell me what happened. Mom and Dad were so happy this morning. Today it was supposed to be the beginning of their vacation in Hawaii. It was a shock, to hear this, especially on the radio, on my way home. I immediately turned the car around to go back to the airport, to make sure that it was not their plane that crashed. But it was. It was their plane that crashed into the mountain. As she explained everything to her Aunt, both ended up in tears. Honey try to get a little rest, your Uncle and I will clean up here. I can’t. Just try. If you can’t sleep, just let your body, calm down. Go lay down, we are here. She went and laid across the bed, and cried all night. The next morning funeral arrangements had to be made. This would be the hardest part for the both of them. The phone rang. Aunt Mary answered it. Hold on honey, let me get her. Andrea phone It’s Terry. Thanks Aunt Mary. Hello. Hi Andrea, how are you? I’m okay, I guess. I’m sorry to hear about your parents. Is there anything that I can do for you? No Terry, but thanks. Everything is being taken care of. Don’t worry about work, everything is fine. Mr. Jackson and Mr. Davis sends there love. Thanks Terry. Thanks for everything. I will talk to you later by. Back at the office Terry was putting fresh flowers on Andrea’s desk, when she ran across Nicholas Reed card. She thought about it. Terry picked up the phone and called him. When the phone ring Mr. Reed answered it. Hello. Yes hello. May I speak to Mr. Nicholas Reed? Speaking. Mr. Reed my name is Terry Lawson. I’m a legal assistant for the law firm of Jackson and Davis. One of Mr. Jackson legal assistant Andrea Porter’s lost her parents in a plane crash over the weekend. Yes I heard that. And we would like for all our clients to attend the service. Is it okay if I call you Terry? Sure. And please feel free to call me Nick. Tell Mr. Jackson I’ll be there. And thank you for calling Terry. You’re welcome. A few days later, the service of Andrea’s parents was held at St. Francis Catholic Church. Everyone attended the service including Nick. After service everyone went back to Andrea home where food was being prepared. Terry and the other members of the church set up tables and chairs, on the front lawn of Andrea’s home. She welcomed everyone and told them to enjoy their selves. Nick walked over to Andrea, and took her hand in his. I was sorry to hear about your parents, you have my deepest sympathy. A tear fell from her eye. Here take my handkerchiefs. Thank you. My name is Nicholas Reed, but you can call me Nick. Please to meet you Nick, I’m glad you came. My name is Andrea Porter. Nick I’m sorry it had to be under these circumstanced. Andrea I wanted to come I didn’t mind it at all. I will be in town for a week or so how about showing me your hometown if you feel up to it tomorrow? That’s sweet of you. I’d be honored to. Then Ms. Porter it’s a date. After everyone had left, Terry and the other ladies from the church cleaned up everything before going home. Andrea thank the ladies for their help. One of the elderly ladies responded by saying, honey you’re welcome. Andrea I’ll call you tomorrow, and don’t worry about the office. Mr. Jackson wont’s you to take as much time as you need. Think you Terry. You are welcome my friend. After Terry and the others left, Andrea got ready for bed. When Uncle John, and Aunt Mary passed by Andrea’s room, they said good night. Just to make sure she was okay. Aunt Mary don’t worry I’m okay. You two get some rest. Good night darling. Good night. As she drifted off to sleep she began to toss and turn, with the nightmare of her parents. Aunt Mary heard Andrea moaning, and went to see about her. Honey or you alright? Just a bad dream Aunt Mary. I’m sorry I woke you up. That’s okay baby.* Try to get some rest. I’ll stay right here until you fall asleep. Thank you. Early the next morning the phone rang, Nick was on the other end. Hello Andrea. Hi Nick. How are you feeling today? Did you get any sleep? I slept fine, thank you. Knowing that she didn’t. And how did you rest in our little town? Pretty good, thank you. Are we ready for my tour of your fair town? Sure give me and hour to get ready. And hour later her doorbell ring. Aunt Mary answered the door. Hello I’m Nick, a friend of Andrea. Hi Nick I’m Andrea Aunt Mary, and I’m Uncle John. Nice to meet you both. Just then Andrea walked up. Well good morning, you look lovely. Thank you. And you look handsome. Thank you. Shell we go? He know that it was. But he wont to hear it from her. Yes it is. And you Nick? Are you marriage? No I’m not. At that answer Nick drove off. Where to first Andrea? How about breakfast? Sound good to me. After breakfast the tour of the town began. The second stop was the museum, amusement park, and even a boat ride. As the evening drew to a close, they decided to go for dinner before Nick took her home. At dinner they talked about what a good time they both had today. Andrea I need to say this. You are a very beautiful woman. Why thank you Nick. You really are. Andrea I have a few more days here before I return home. The offer still stands. If you are ever in Los’ Angeles, please give me a call. And I can extend the same courteous you have restored up on me. Well it’s time to get you home before your Aunt start to worry about you. She knows I’m a big girl now. And so do I Andrea. I have a meeting with your boss in the morning, but after the meeting I’ll give you a call, and maybe we could have dinner at my home. That would be great Andrea. Shell we. After leaving the restaurant Andrea was quite all the way home. Are you okay Andrea? Just thinking about going home, and not seeing my parents face there. Andrea I know it’s hard, but believe me it will get a little easier as time passes. Andrea my parents are living, so I don’t know how you really feel, only God knows. As the car came to a complete stop in front of Andrea home, Nick ask if he could kiss her tears away? She smiled and said I don’t mine. So he did. His kiss was like nothing she had ever experienced. But like everything she had dreamed of. Her dreams were about to come true. But she knew it was only a dream, because he would be returning home soon. And there was nothing she could do about that. She held on to him as long as she could, but then let go. Nick it’s getting late, so I better go in before Aunt Mary start to worry. Nick open the door got out, and walked around to open hears. Thank you sir. You are welcome, madam. As they approached the porch, the light came on. Honey is that you? Yes Aunt Mary it’s me. Nick I had a great time. So did I Andrea. I’ll call you. Memories of her parents came back, but she tried to hide it from her Aunt. Hi honey. Did you have a nice time? We had a very nice time today. I really enjoyed it. That’s good to hear honey. Your Uncle and I are leaving in a few days, and we would like it if you would come and live with us. That’s sweet of you to ask me Aunt Mary, but I’ll be fine here. Are you sure Andrea? Because we would love to have you. No really I’m fine. If you change your mind let us know. I will. Andrea said good night and went to take a cold shower, and turned in for the night. Morning came quickly, Andrea could smell breakfast cooking. As she washed her face, and got dressed for breakfast, her Aunt knocked on the door. Honey breakfast is ready. Coming. Good morning you two. Good morning dear. How did you sleep? I slept good. That’s great honey. What are your plans for today Andrea? I think I’m going into work this morning. Are you sure honey? Yes. I think it time I return to work. Okay honey, if you feel up to it. Everyone at the office has been so nice and understanding. I think God for them. Aunt Mary they are wonderful people. Yes they are honey. Well time to go, I will see you two later. By honey. When Andrea arrived at work, the staff were glad to see her back. Andrea we’ve missed you. Glad to have you back. Thank you Mr. Jackson. Glad to be back. Everyone returned to their office, but Terry. How are you doing my friend? Okay I guess. Are you really? I’m doing fine Terry. Andrea what have you been doing these last few days? Nothing much. Are you sure? Well I did have a date yesterday. Date. Who? Could it be Mr. Nicholas Reed? Your guess is right my friend. By the way how did he know my parents had died? Well I found his card on your desk, and gave him a call. Did I do something wrong? No Terry that was very sweet of you. That’s why you are my best friend. I have and offer for you. What is it Terry? How about me moving in with you for a few weeks after your Aunt and Uncle leaves. That’s sweet of you to offer. But you don’t have to. But I want to. Well then my friend I accept. Just let me know when to move in. I will. Just then the office door open. Good morning ladies. Good morning Sir. Nick stopped at Andrea desk, before he went in. He lean down and told her he would talk to her later. And smiled. Terry smiled at Andrea as she strolled by her desk. Nick asked Andrea out to dinner after work. She reminded him about dinner at her home. But I want you and I to spend time together before I leave for home. I would love to spend time with you. Great I’ll pick you up at 7:p.m. After work Andrea went straight home, took a shower, and got dressed, for her date. When she finished Aunt Mary called her. Honey would you please come in here. Yes Aunt Mary. Your Uncle and I are leaving in the morning, and the offer still stands. We would like for you to come back to Dallas, Texas with us. Aunt Mary I love you both very much, but I’ll be just fine. Only if you’re sure honey. Andrea gave her Aunt and Uncle a big hug. You two have been great. Don’t worry about me, Terry is moving in with me for a while. That’s great honey. She’s a nice young lady. Just then the doorbell ring. Come in young man, have a seat. Andrea, and her Aunt will be out shortly. So how was your day Sir? Just fine son. My niece tells me you are not from around here. No I’m not. I’m from Los Angeles sir. Just then Andrea, and Aunt Mary walked in. Good evening ladies. Hi Nick. How are you Nick? Just fine ma’am. Well Aunt Mary we’re off. I want be late. Okay honey. Nick open the door for her, just as she was getting in, he kissed her hand, and closed the door. As he entered from the other side, she could see she wonted this man real bad. No doubt about it. As they drove away she knew this would be the last night she would ever see this man again. So it was now are never. When they finished dinner Andrea suggested a ride in the park. After they arrived Andrea open the door and got out, and so did Nick. As he walked around to Andrea side, he took her hand and pulled her next to him. Andrea I have wonted you from the first time I set eyes on you. So have I Nick. Then he took her in his arms, as their lips and tongues met. It took both of their breathe away. He could feel her nipples grow hard under blouse, and she felt his growing pressing up against her stomach. Things were happening so fast she could not think. Oh Andrea I want you so bad, I can’t see straight. Neither can I. Not here, not like this. Andrea would you come back to my hotel with me. yes Nick I will. When they arrived, Andrea was afraid, because she knew what was about to happen. Something she had been waiting for, knowing that it might be the first and the last time they would ever be together. Nick open the door to his room, can I get you something? Just you Nick. Baby I’m all yours He took her hand and led her to his bedroom very graciously. Andrea swallowed hard as she set on the bed. Nick knew she was afraid, and he knew she was a virgin. So he had to be very careful with her. Nick took Andrea hand as she stood up looking into his eyes. I’m afraid Nick. I’ve never made love before, so please bare with me. Andrea I’m very flattered. But are you sure? Yes I’m sure. Nick took her mouth like never before, lifting her just that much higher. Oh Nick, as her hands stroked through her hair he could only see his self making love to her. He unbutton her blouse, he could hear his heart beating through his chest. She looked into his eyes and turned her back to him so he could unfasten her bra. He also unzipped her pants. He couldn’t believe how beautiful this woman was. She was a vision of loveliness. God, you are so lovely Andrea. Thank you. As he kissed her neck, and sucked on her nipples holding them in his hand she could only moan. She was under his spell. Nick kissed her body all over. He picked her up and place her on the bed. He pulled his shirt, and pants off. Andrea was blinded by the well built of his body, as she felt herself wanting him in side of her. She could only dream of how it would feel. Nick started to finish what he began. He sucked her nipples so until they were standing up. All she could was call his name. Then he kissed her stomach, as he took his tongue and went down her panty line. She almost came off the bed. Come to me Nick, let me touch your body. She kissed his neck, ears, and sucked on his nipples, and played in his dark black hair. Andrea was driving him crazy, and she knew it. She slipped off her panties, and pulled his off, she knew there was nothing else between them. As Andrea lay flat of her back, Nick placed his growing inside of her after for so long. She could only arch her back to meet his rhythm of their movement. Are you okay Andrea? Yes I’m fine. Please don’t stop as she grasp for air. I have waited for so long Andrea for this moment. So have I Nick. With her eyes closed she could still see his face, and smell the cent of their bodies. She open her legs even wider. Oh Baby I can’t hold back any longer Andrea. Nor can I Nick. And they both came to a climax at the same time. It took them to heights they had never experienced before. Both were speechless. Nick looked into Andrea face, sweetheart are you alright? Nick I’m fine, thank you for asking. Andrea was it everything you expected? Yes, and more. Nick I know I’m not experience as you are, but I can do better. No Andrea, you were great. Better than great. Then he pulled her on top of him. Make love to me Andrea, make love to my mine. She did just what he asked. As she begun to go up and down on him. He could only arch his back to meet her wishes. They both rose to more higher climax than the first time. Oh Nick I’m coming again. So am I baby. Oh Nick hold me. As they lay there for a while, Nick ask Andrea if she used any kind of protection? Don’t worry I did. He thanked her, then gave her a kiss, and went to take a shower. When he finished Andrea did the same. Are you ready to go Andrea? Yes. Thank you for a great evening, and for taking your time with me. Andrea I’m glad I was your first. I am to Nick. As they returned to the car he open the door for her, and kissed her hand. She smiled and got in. Can I get you anything? Are you hungry? No nick I’m fine. When they arrived at Andrea home, she didn’t want to leave him, but she knew he would be leaving in the morning, and he needed to get some rest. Because he had a big day ahead of him tomorrow with packing, and returning home to his family, friends, and his job. Nick I’m glad you came down to my parent funeral. Andrea I’m glad I could be here for you. So am I Nick. But you didn’t know my parents are me. Andrea the company that I work for has been in business with your company for twenty years. So I came to represent them. But she knew difference. Andrea it’s time for me to go. I have a lot of packing to do, he gave her a goodnight kiss and said good bye. Andrea open the door and went inside. Aunt Mary, and Uncle John were asleep. As she got ready for bed she knew everyone would be leaving her in the morning, and she would be along again. As she awaken, she heard her Aunt voice, and the smell of breakfast cooking. Honey. I’m up. You guys are packed and ready to go I see. Honey our office still stands. Come home with us. Aunt Mary don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. Remember Terry is coming to live with me for a while. Okay honey if you say so. After breakfast Aunt Mary, and Uncle John left for home, and Andrea left for work.
