Don't Drive Your Mama Away - Simeko Revador

    BLESSED

Here I am blessed to see another day

I humble myself to you Lord as I began to pray

Thank you Lord for opening my eyes

I can smell the fresh air, yet you could have passed me by

I’m starting to understand you as I pray more and more

You’re a giving, never late God, all we have to do is just ask, just knock on the door

No one understands me Lord like you can

Sometimes I feel I’m a mess, yet you still hold my hand

In church, out church, making excuses sometimes not to go

But yet when I call you or come knocking, you always open the door

Never leaving me, always forgiving me for my wrongs

I’m trying to do right Lord, I need your strength to carry on

When I study my bible I feel strong and powerful

But soon as I slack up, it seems the devil attacks become hourful

Yes he’s wicked, he’s a serpent, he’s always up to no good

But I know how to fuel up on Jesus, and that should never be misunderstood

Thank you Lord, I love you with all my heart

Please help me to tithe more, yes I need to do my part

On that rugged cross you bared our sins

How easily do I forget sometimes, can I please make amends

Faith without works is useless they say

You’re an awesome God and I’ll cherish you everyday

Remember me Lord when my time is near

Please take away my doubts, remove my fears

We’re blessed by the best, so let’s not stress !!!

    A SOLDIER IN JESUS ARMY

I went to the Doctor today

I had a little disturbing news come my way

A little shaken, a little confused

But the road to God’s mercy is the path I’ll choose

Ready, aim, fire, step back Satan you’re a liar

I’m a soldier in Jesus army, see there is nothing you can do to harm me

This body is just a shell, see my soul is saved from hell

You see I’m covered in the blood

No weapon formed against me shall prosper

No victory here for you Satan

    My Lord gets the Oscar

Ready, aim, fire, step back Satan you’re a liar

I’m a soldier in Jesus army, there’s nothing you can do to harm me

I’ll praise him, I’ll praise my Lord night and day

He’s the Redeemer, The Great Jehovah

He’s the one who answers my prayers over and over

On my knees I kneel to God to pray

I’ve walked, crawled, yes Father I’ll give you my all

Ready, aim, fire, be gone Satan you’re a liar

That’s right I’m gonna fire, I’m gonna fire you up with prayer

See for I’m loaded with prayer ammunition, God has me prepared

You may shake me up, rattle me a bit

But God keeps me, he knows how to make you quit

Remember I’m a soldier in Jesus army, there’s nothing you can do to harm me

This battle is not mine, it belongs to the Lord

I think you forgot Satan, he was once your God
