    I have been writing poetry since I was in the fourth grade. I started getting serious about poetry within the last seven years. I started to write as a means for me to express my own experiences as well as others. When I would share my poetry with friends, they would tell me that my poetry was emotion felt. I have wanted to share my poetry with the world for years. I hope that you enjoy my poetry as well as I enjoyed writing it. I currently reside in Northern California with my husband Charles and my two children, Maya and Jayson. I dedicate this book to my parents Jimmy and Carolyn. They both taught me at an early age to believe in myself and to achieve all of my goals.
