Lucy Morgan Waller

About the Author After thirty-four years as a pastor’s wife and a mother, and thirty years as a teacher, Lucy Waller found herself alone and unhappy. She enjoyed the “Spares and Pairs” class in church until she realized that she was a Spare. She tried the singles group and found herself in a ratio of two men to every twelve women. Then she turned to the internet and learned a lot. Ten years later, Lucy is content. She lives for her children and grandchildren and her committed relationship to God. Now she is enjoying two new passions: her sense of humor and a love for writing.

    PREFACE

This book is done by request from family and friends. It is fiction (with the exception of Canoe), and its only purpose is to be funny. It is mostly a list of things that could happen, not things that did happen. I apologize to all the men I have dated in the last ten years if I have written anything that is offensive to you. I didn’t
