Pastor Jeffrey K. Goodson is the pastor of Chosen Generation COGIC in Southwest Philadelphia. He’s married to Evangelist Barbara Goodson, and they have one son, Alex. Pastor Goodson is the president of the Commonwealth Men’s Department, COGIC. He also sits on the executive board of the men’s department of the COGIC. Pastor Goodson has completed two other books, Win the Men and Win the Men: A Thirty-Day Devotional. Pastor J. K. Goodson has attained his associate and bachelor’s degrees from Midwest College and has appeared on TBN and the Gospel Highway 11 radio station. Pastor Goodson continues his work in men’s ministry, conducting men’s workshops and preaching at conferences.

    Introduction

    I PRAISE GOD for this appointed moment for a time such as this. It is always this time that God places on my heart the importance of providing various spiritual insights and directives to win the Man back to the church. If you are a Pastor, leader, or lay person one of the things that we all have in common concerning the growth and attendance of our churches/ministries is that in most cases the women outnumber the men by at least 3 to 1 and in some cases even 5 to 1.

    I believe that there is a shift that’s taking place today concerning the place of men in our congregations. It’s paramount that leaders understand the shift that is unfolding. God in His
