ANGER
Managing Feelings and Actions with the STAR Plan
001.jpgB y all accounts, it was a lazy Saturday morning. Bridget, the long-haired dachshund, and Phillip, the short-haired dachshund, were sitting and watching their Missy Jo-Ellen cook something on the stove. Casey, the Australian Shepherd, was lying beside the stove. The dogs liked to help Jo-Ellen cook. Oftentimes, when Jo-Ellen chops up food, the dogs would get a little piece. That morning, Jo-Ellen gave them a piece of carrot which she had chopped up to put into the soup she was cooking. As Bridget finished crunching down her carrot, she said to Phillip and Casey, What do you call a carrot that talks back to you?
When both shook their heads and said that they did not know, Bridget said, A fresh vegetable.
Both Phillip and Casey laughed and enjoyed the joke.
Jimmy walked into the kitchen from the living room where he was watching the morning news. He asked, What are you making? It smells good.
