    Peace Be Still

For it is by Grace (God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ) that you have been saved (actually delivered from judgement and given eternal life) through faith. And this (salvation) is not of yourselves (not through your own effort), but it is the (undeserved, gracious) gift of God; not as a result of (your) works, (nor your attempts to keep the law), so that no one will (be able to) boast or take credit in any way, (for his salvation). –Ephesians 2: 8, 9 AMP

    What is Grace?

Since my last book, Let Your Light So Shine: Live a Life of Love, I have had even more revelation on the love of God and much tests. No, I did not pass every test, but I’m on my way. I’m a work in progress just like you. I got to tell you, it is sometimes very hard to walk in love when the opposition is coming at you, attacking with full force. I’ve had to reflect on my own book on the love of God as well as the bible a few times just to remind myself of the importance of walking in love with others, even those who mistreat you. Sometimes you think that they are mistreating you for no reason. However, since we wrestle not against flesh and blood, there’s always a reason. It’s not the person right before your eyes. It’s that demonic spirit operating behind their behavior that happens to be the root of the problem. That demon is working overtime to try to get you to step out of your love walk and he chooses different ways to do it. It’s quite a challenge, one you will encounter until you leave this earth. The devil doesn’t want you to love at all, much less do anything that may please God. Anyway, God is opening my eyes more and more to how easy it is to take for granted the grace that we have to love through Christ Jesus. We have the ability and strength to love anyone and anything through God’s grace, for we possess the gift of Grace. We can love just like Jesus with a true, genuine agape love.

Agape Love is an unconditional, undying love from the Father God. It’s a love that never dies. It makes you love the unlovable and love no matter what the situation may be. It sees pass differences and hate and chooses to love instead. It doesn’t even think about getting back anything in return. It allows no room for selfishness or lack of concern for the physical and spiritual well-being of another. It doesn’t allow you to even dare think that way. It’s the love of God overflowing in you from the Holy Spirit in a beautiful way without you even realizing it, hence, the nature of Jesus Christ. It’s an awesome feeling of God’s presence, peace and quietness. It’s serene, joyful, and laced with God’s Grace and Favor.

    Grace

    • It’s the power of God in you to overcome any situation or circumstance with God’s unmerited, undeserved favor backing you up. You must believe that you possess this Grace from God.

    • It’s the strength and ability to flow in the supernatural.

    • It’s peace beyond understanding when troubles arise. Have you ever gone through anything and wondered how you stayed peaceful through it? It was and still is the Grace of God. Have you ever needed supplies for your next meal or you needed money to pay a bill, yet remained in peace and provisions just showed up? That’s the Grace of God.

    • It’s divine protection from God that is supernatural. Have you ever escaped death? Sure you have. You may not even know it. Have you ever witnessed or overheard about a tragedy that took place and said to yourself, OH MY GOODNESS! THAT COULD’VE BEEN ME! That’s the Grace of God. You were not even around when it happened or you were just about to go there.

    • It’s the comfort of the Holy Spirit when things go really bad. You’re so hurt that you can barely move or speak. Then you enter a quiet place in the house and it’s just you and the Holy Spirit. You are forced to rest physically. As you rest and listen to the music of God, the presence of God becomes stronger and more evident to you. Your spiritual peace has come. You begin to feel the Holy Spirit embrace you like a big hug full of love and care. And you can’t help but to feel better, happier, and stronger.

    • It’s the ability to genuinely look as if you are on top of the world and nothing at all is going wrong in your life. You haven’t planned to look that way, you just do. People are seeing the light of Jesus in you. Yet, the enemy is currently giving you problems. Inside you are suffering, but it doesn’t even show, just the glow from Jesus.

    • It’s the strength and ability to love no matter what with patience, understanding, and the compassion of Jesus Christ. It’s the strength and ability to love the unlovable minus the prejudices or discriminatory behavior. This means strength and ability to love everybody genuinely. It is confidence and comfort in knowing you can love just like Jesus.

One of the Biggest Lies of Satan

Satan tries to get us to believe his lies all the time. One of the biggest lies of Satan is that we don’t need love or we don’t need to love. Sure you do, but you need to receive it from God and love others genuinely through God and with his grace. You even need to love yourself. You hear some people say things like, Love don’t pay my bills or Love don’t pay the rent or We can just get married, the love will come later or I don’t care, I just don’t want to be alone or What does love have to do with it? He tries to get you to believe that selfishness, rudeness, or hate is the way to behave or treat someone, so he brings you some challenges that really try your patience.

The truth is God wants you to receive this gift of grace. It enables you to love anybody and anything. We are all supposed to be practicing walking in love daily so that we can help others experience the love of Christ. We can achieve this through and by God’s grace and strength. We have some hurting people on earth that need to know that God loves them. You may be one of them. Listen to me, God really loves you. Satan does not want us to get a revelation of how much God loves us. This frightens the devil because then
