Introduction

Several years had passed since Liam had taken Lela and her family away from the cottage. She no longer wanted to be in the area after what had happened, so Liam took them to another area where they could start over.

Lela couldn’t seem to move on from the horrible incident which occurred years ago. Del, who was the love of her life, was pursued by a group of men who saw him as a suspect in the mysterious murders and disappearances of the people in the nearby village. When they had captured him, they stabbed him and took him away, never to be seen or heard from again.

It was for that reason, Lela no longer wanted to stay in the cottage where Liam had been keeping Lela and her family. Del had also stayed there with them and after what had happened, there was nothing left for Lela but painful memories of what had happened to the love of her life.

Because Liam cared about Lela, he wanted to help her and take care of her and her family, so he decided to relocate, just as she wanted. He found a new place for them to settle, and he built a home for them, and they had stayed there since.

Chapter 1

As time went on, Lela missed Del more and more. She wished that it was all just a bad dream, and he would return to her. Unfortunately, for her, because of what happened years ago, Lela realized that it wasn’t possible for her beloved Del to return to her. Through the years, she became depressed, and she couldn’t move on from Del or what had happened to him.

The children also missed him and wondered what had happened. They couldn’t understand why their father was no longer around, and Lela couldn’t bring herself to tell them about what had happened to him. She also made it a point to tell Liam to not tell them about what had happened. Liam reluctantly agreed even though he disagreed with the decision because he felt that they should know about what had happened and why their father would never return.

Lela knew that the children missed Del, but she feared that as time went on, they would eventually forget about their father. She worried about this more with the younger ones, who didn’t have as much time with him since they were so young when the incident had taken place.

Liam understood that Lela and her family were sad about what had happened, but deep down, he wished that they would’ve moved on from it. He also felt that they would be better off if they would forget about Del. Liam still felt that he was no good, and he tried to warn Lela about him in the past, but she refused to listen to him. He hoped that someday she would learn to accept the truth and stop living in the past, so they could move on with their lives.

Chapter 2

With the years that had passed, Liam became a young man and his love for Lela grew. After Del had been stabbed and taken away, Liam took it upon himself to step up and become the head of the family. His mind had been made up since the day they had first met that he was going to protect Lela and take care of her no matter what.

Liam knew that Lela was sad about what had happened to Del, and he realized that he could never replace him, however, he hoped that as time went on, she’d be able to move on and give him a chance. Liam hoped that someday, Lela would feel the same way as he did.

He did all he could to show Lela that he was there for her, and he wanted her to know how much she cared. He wanted Lela to see that he was able to take care of her as well as her family. Liam worked hard to provide for them. He also helped to take care of the children, and he treated them as if they were his own. They seemed to like him, but he knew that they were sad about their father, and they missed him very much.

Liam was determined to not give up. He often bought little gifts for the children, and they were grateful. They often hugged him, and they thanked him for the things he had brought for them. Liam also made sure to spend time with each one of them so that they would have the chance to bond with him. He wanted them to like him, and
