What a brilliantly rounded starter book for anyone thinking of setting out on their own in business. If you have already ventured forth, it can only assist you on your journey to success with some helpful self analysis tips too.
I particularly love how Anna gives an overview of everything to consider in business, explaining all the aspects simply and clearly with some really important do’s and don’ts.
I’ve witnessed many people’s businesses fail due to cash flow problems and no forward business planning, or even an understanding of where their business is ‘at’ on a regular basis. This book will empower you to do your best to avoid these potential pitfalls.
Anna also includes the importance of a positive and success mindset. I cannot recommend working on this enough and being mindful of any thoughts and beliefs that may block your path to success. I personally know two former dragons from the tv series Dragons’ Den and they have both said to me independently that one of the reasons entrepreneurs fail is due to their negative and self limiting beliefs.
Everyone deserves to be happy and successful in all aspects of their lives and if you’re a budding or existing entrepreneur then Starting Your Business The Positive Way is a must-read.

INTRODUCTION
When I originally qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant I was always attracted to working in industry and the opportunity to be involved with a company, rather than just their financial aspects.
After becoming involved with an industrial company as finance director and co-owner, I spent over 25 years actively involved in all aspects of growing this company and seeing it flourish into a multimillion pound business before selling it to a large group.
I decided to put my experience to good use by setting up a small accountancy practice dedicated to helping small businesses and start-ups become more efficient and successful. It was at this point that I realised how little practical and straightforward advice there is for those considering, and taking the first steps to, setting up their own business.
This guide is intended to help those of you that are wondering if
