Early Days

Small Moody Child

The child had a thing inside

Moods driven by a fusion reactor

Ready to blow the child

And world to pieces

Plus his long suffering bossy mum

And crazy strict copper dad

Why was the child so moody?

At an almost psychic level

This was to stay with him

It was who he was

And always will be

The moody mad child inside

Who understood himself

Only sometimes and needed a warning

To himself and to the public

He caused great damage to himself

Other people and the world

Leaving his mark on the world

By broken windows and damage

And at the edge of their minds

The child who destroyed his toys

For whatever twisted reason

When his mum found out

She was mad and used her moods

Her moods always defeated 

The small moody child

A child called Jimmy

Jimmy cried all night/Tantrum times, cry an ocean/Mum, not amused

Rubber Johnny Poodle

The child's mum loved poodle

She had two called Nikki and Marty

Both were white and pampered dogs

The child liked the dogs

Stroking and tormenting them

Till one bit him on his arse

And made the child cry

He soon stopped doing it

The child liked the poodles

And in time got his own

A black poodle puppy

Who he named Johnny

After Rubber Johnny's condoms

A dog named after a contraceptive

Only this unstable 7 year old child

Would dare do that...

Damn Bad

Some childhood memories remain clear

Like being ill with a bad cold

Having green snot running down my nose

Coughing till I cried all day long

Being kept off school due to the cold

The place where I caught it

Maybe I'd get better if I returned?

Having to take evil medicine that worked

I knew it was bad due to the taste 

Bright
