Delilah was dying inside, to use a cliché. She was in love with two men. One was her husband, Chad, and the other was a tattooist, like herself. This shared career in art had brought them together and would cause all the happiness and misery. The edge felt near. Love for her new man, Russ, threatened to send Delilah insane. She moped about, struggled to tattoo, forgot what her customers' instructions. A crisis was building. What would break first? Would her husband find out, seeing his wife and her new love interest, together? Or would she screw up a tattoo? That had never happened before. Something had to give. Or would everything be all right? Destiny guiding them to a happy outcome, whatever it might be? Only fate knew. But Delilah, poor Delilah, had to make a decision. One man or the other. There were two studios in town, both eleven miles apart. Delilah's one, called New Ink, and another belonging to Russ, Nemesis, a small studio in the north side of town in the old quarter.
