About this ebook
Plot Summary
The human race is unique!
Despite our many differences; religion, beliefs, race, skin color, or personal prejudices, there is still one thing that holds our world together, which is 'We are all human.'
However, we fail to see the beauty in the uniqueness of humankind, because we have been blinded by hate, bigotry, envy, and fear. We let hatred rule us, envy divide us, and fear keep us from fixing the mess. But it is time to wake up and see that everyone was created equal, perfect, and no different.
People have been born into unequal circumstances, which often leads them to make choices, which may either be good or bad, but one thing remains. We are still the same regardless. You may be asking, '…how can that be?'
This book will help you discover how there are no differences.
Hello there! No matter your skin color, race, gender, economic rank, sexual identity, or social status, we are human before anything else. In our diversities, we can still achieve oneness. Hatred may have ripped us apart, but there is still a way to mend the tear if only we can fix ourselves first, letting the uniqueness of the human race reflect inward and then to the outside, healing the human race. We should mend the tear and do it now! This book will be a guide.

"Courageous call to action! The author addresses human existence in pragmatic and academic ways supported by Bible verses. The division, love, and hate issues spun throughout the text to get the reader to self-exam and take actions to make the world better. Alike Regardless is a keeper!"- Kenneth "MD" Madison - Diversity & Inclusion Facilitator, MD Madison & Associates
" As a thought leader in the DEI space, I truly appreciated the book as the author does an amazing job of walking the reader through the journey of how division has torn apart humankind. Then introduces love as the key to healing these wounds. I especially enjoyed the call to action, as it encourages everyone to take a stand and work together to fight for all human beings. I would highly recommend the book to anyone looking to understand better how hatred and bias have caused division in the world and learn what steps need to be taken to move forward as a society."- Kerry D. Rosado - CEO, Founder, Leadership & DEI Consultant Dyvergent Consulting Group, LLC
"I interviewed Yvener Duroseau and read his new book. This man is a breath of fresh air in a polluted social justice atmosphere. As my readers know, I am a fervent activist for social justice, and I get very frustrated with the slow pace of progress and the negativity of our rhetoric. But Yvener and his new book, "Alike Regardless," advance an absolutely contagious positivity! I highly recommend his book to anyone seeking to part ways with a hate-filled attitude. If you are a diversity advocate, buy this important book for someone who you know is not! This was a Zoom interview, but I wanted to hug this man when we said goodbye. If all of us adopted the demeanor and philosophies of Yvener Duroseau, the world would be a far better place." - MARK M. BELLO – Award Winning Author, Attorney and Social Justice Advocate

Chapter 1
This Is Where It Began
A
long time ago, a large group of people lived on their own. They lived in relative peace and minded their own business. Over time, another group of people, while traveling and looking for free land for themselves, discovered this first group living on their own. Because they had different skin colors and their lifestyles and culture were different, the traveling group made themselves believe this other group were lower humans. So, they invaded the lands of this first group, set themselves up as superiors, and ruled these people. They claimed all their resources for themselves, but they didn’t stop there. They bundled the people up and shipped them in terrible conditions to lands miles and miles and miles away from their homes to work as slaves on big cotton farms. Does this story sound
