Ascension

Ascension, simply put, is awareness of Self. We typically think of ourselves as the bodies we inhabit. And while it appears so when in physical form, it’s actually part of the illusion within which we all live. Source Energy chose to expand Itself, and as that happened, and continues to happen, opportunities arose to experience something more tangible. The universe around us, as well as us, came into being as each one of us gave our attention to a new expression of Self, this so-called life in physical bodies with the full presence and awareness of Source Energy as our impetus. We are forever expressions of Source Energy. We collectively create the universe and all that’s in it for the purpose of that expansion.

Each one of us is a projection of collective consciousness. We focus into form in an effort to experience life in bodies and to support the expansion and awareness of Source Energy. Traditional interpretations focus on humanity’s journey through life. But that suggests the passage of time when time doesn’t actually exist. Yes, there is a progression, but only as a reference in physical form. Because humans seem to need to organize and catalog everything, myself included, we’re not comfortable in simple existence. We must be doing something, accomplishing something, progressing with something.

Additionally, we believe we’re here to interact and engage with others as a means of personal growth and development, gaining spiritual attributes in an effort to work our way back to God. The only problem with that is we never left God in the first place because we are God.

It’s a stretch for some to believe this, however, because we’ve always been told that God is separate from us, and is both loving and vengeful, which I’ve always found to be ridiculous. It’s like we’re potentially in trouble or something all of the time unless we live a certain way when, in fact, Source doesn’t care one way or another what we do. Source is too busy creating and loving which is exactly what the rest of us should be doing.

But with ascension upon us, life is changing, and more are becoming aware of their Source Presence. And when we become aware, we then have a choice to live out life as the bodies we inhabit, in all the drama and subjectivity our perception creates, or as Source Energy, seeing everything and everyone through Source Vision. And no, ascension doesn’t mean that those deemed worthy suddenly vaporize into beings of light. It’s not as difficult as it sounds, but it does suggest a leap of faith of sorts for some of us.

It means that we set aside our judgment of others in lieu of a new way of seeing. We see no lack in others, but only the perfection of Source Presence. Nothing needs fixing. We need nothing except to extend ourselves in love and unity to all.

Of course, this is a process for most of us. It’s not so easy to see obnoxious or abusive behavior as needing little to no response, but from the standpoint of Source Presence, that’s exactly what we should do.

Perhaps a simpler approach would be to consider only our own emotions and then do whatever is necessary to prevent another’s behavior from derailing our peace of mind. Another way of saying this is that we don’t allow others to bring us out of alignment.

Much of our life is crafted around religious structure whether we realize it or not and with our new awareness taking hold, many are rejecting that paradigm. Even in witchcraft this is true considering the hierarchal structure that mimics the clergy. Someone is in charge. Someone isn’t. A path exists between the two, but only with someone else’s permission.

Who decides such things? In my opinion, the witch does. A witch needs nothing from a force external from herself because she is that force. She needs no one to confer this or that grade or position. Nothing takes a year and a day because time doesn’t actually exist. So, I’m not sure what’s actually happening in those situations. But it’s there for those witches preferring an other-based structure to the one I’m suggesting.
