Chapter 1

Jett Ryder stood against the railing and closed his eyes. He and his best friend, Mika Moore, were at an overlook near the edge of Niagara Falls. It was summer, and the place was packed with tourists.

Listen to that, said Jett, raising his voice to be heard above the roaring water. That is pure power. He could feel the strength of the water as it poured over the edge and plummeted hundreds of feet. His entire body thrummed with energy.

You know, Mika said, "most people come to the Falls to look at them."

This book was a decent read. I'm sure it would appeal to a younger reader that likes an action book. It also gives some background history about Niagara Falls which makes it educational as well.

Another great book from the Jett Ryder series. Good adventure book for young readers ages 12 and under. Several illustrations that are well done.
