Puzzle 1:

Detective Sean Ross was at a crime scene where a wealthy farmer was murdered in his bedroom. He noted that man was first hit with a blunt object before an artery in his neck was cut.

Beside the body, the man was an empty bottle. Detective Sean Ross picked up the bottle and dipped his nose inside it. Suddenly, he burst into laughter. After 5 minutes, he stopped laughing and regained his senses.

Detective Sean Ross quickly hurried out of the crime scene. Later that day, he began to go over the clues, and early morning the next day, he was out of his bed with excitement. By the end of that day, he had arrested three suspects. The suspects were; a nurse, a dental assistant, and a physician.

James Adriano was a successful American football player. He was married to a beautiful silver-haired woman from Sweden. Their marriage was falling apart and James knew that if his wife divorced him, he would forfeit a large amount of his fortune to her. James has an older brother, Ricardo.

James and Ricardo barely phone each other, but James was looking for a way out of his problem, so he persuaded Ricardo to help him get rid of his wife. Ricardo agreed to his brother's plan and struck the next day. He crept into James' bedroom at night, he shot James in the shoulder and his wife in the head.

After the murder, Ricardo promptly discarded all the evidence that can link him to the murder. James invited Detective Sean Ross to help him investigate the attempted murder on his life and the murder of his wife.

Detective Sean Ross arrived at the crime scene and comb the scene for clues to unravel the crime, but he could not find a single clue.
