About this ebook
The design approach called permaculture is most often used for landscape planning, natural resource planning, and gardening. Now, more often, it's ethics and principles are being applied to human communities. There is also a growing acknowledgement of its foundation in land-based spirituality and practice of indigenous communities across the globe. The humble awareness of this integration is instructive for people of faith seeking to address the climate crisis. This field guide seeks to apply permaculture principles to the church's approach to spiritual practice, use of natural resources, and community engagement.

Reviews for A Field Guide for Congregations

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I stumbled across this book looking for good permaculture ideas and practices. Not reading the description, I was intrigued by the layering of theological perspectives into permaculture principles. I struggled through the 1st 2 chapters with the shear magnitude of woke ideology that has to be digested to get through the content. The pages are littered with terms like “colonialism”, “exploitation”, “whiteness”, “patriarchy”. Just not for me.
