                               MOHAMMAD ARMAN RAYEEN has been awarded by an honors degree in Geology, in 2016 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and also earned Master’s degree in Earth Science, in 2019 from Central university of Punjab, Bathinda Punjab. In addition, he qualified for the IIT-JAM 2017 and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2019. He was born in the city of Bihar, the district headquarter of Kaimur District (Bhabhua), in the year 1996. This is the debut novel of the author and he is also working on an upcoming fiction which may hit the market at the end of this year.

    Dad's Present

    Mom! Mom!.... Wow ! Dad, Are you here right now? I've been missing you a lot since last weekend. I waited for you until the sun went down.  

    When Darsh returned from school, he saw that his father’s vehicle was parked in front of his main gate. Then he ran quickly into the home in excitement to meet his father, calling his mom and he found them on the balcony where his father was relaxing, taking tea in one hand and holding a newspaper in the other one. When they heard their little son's call, he lifted his head from the newspaper.

    Darsh grabbed his father tightly just as he placed the cup of tea on the table. Oh, father! When you didn't arrive here last weekend, I was disappointed, Darsh complained his father grabbing him with his both hands.

    Oh, my sweet tiger, I've here just for you. I was also missing you terribly, my little baby, His father told him with smiling face taking Darsh beside him.

    Dad, where is my present that you promised me before you went to the forest last time? Darsh recalled about the promises that his father made him before going to his job (forest).

    Oh! Please accept my apologies for my lack of enthusiasm. I'd forgotten about it. You will undoubtedly obtain it. However, I have a wonderful present for you. My kid, I bring you a lot of mangoes and honey, His father apologizing his mistakes.

    Wow! Dad mangoes are one of my favorite fruits. Really? Where are those? Darsh inquired to his father searching the mangoes boxes here and there.

    Darsh came here your present is waiting here, Darsh’s mom told him from the kitchen. "Ok Mom I’m coming after talking Dad.

    However, you must make a firm promise to me that you will bring a pet animal next time, Darsh again told him to make a promise to bring him a pet animal. Sure next time I'll do it, my little tiger, his father promised.

    Darsh interrupted his father's talk with a question concerning the birds.

    "Dad!...

    Darsh was living in a small family of four members. He shared a home with his grandfather, mother, and father. He was the only child in his family and was loved by everyone. His family was joint family. They became nucleus after his father's government job. In his three brothers, his father was the second oldest. Darsh’s father name was Rakesh Kumar Singh. In his group friends, Darsh's height was perfect. His excellent features include a rounded face and silky hair that reflected a golden shade in the sunlight. His milky teeth glistened whenever he smiled, making him appear lovely, as if he were a prince.

    Other members of his dad were also living in other cities or towns as per their jobs. His father was an officer in Uttar Pradesh forest
