The crew of the Voyager, including Admiral Picard, embark on an adventure to the year 1855. The time machine teleporter drops them in an open field in Clay County, Missouri, home of Jesse James.

Meeting Jesse's family, they invite them to stay with them. While residing with the James family, the crew learns about daily living in the 1800s.

First mate, Jack, enjoys bonding with young Jesse James. They practice shooting and quick draw techniques. On one occasion, Jack rescues Jesse from being hurt by three wicked men in the saloon. Jack has a showdown against all three men and comes out on top. He then chases them out of town.

After a few days, the crew says their goodbyes.

Aboard the Voyager, they plan their next adventure.

SUMMARY

The crew of the Voyager, including Admiral Picard, embark on an adventure to the year 1855. The time machine teleporter drops them in an open field in Clay County, Missouri, home of Jesse James.

Meeting Jesse's family, they invite them to stay with them. Jack and Jesse hit it off right away and bond together. The crew helps with the daily chores, enabling free time in the afternoons for Jesse and Jack to enjoy target practice.

Audrey learns about cooking in the 1800s by helping Jesse's mother, Zerelda, prepare the meals. Tillie helps Audrey and Zerelda; and also helps the men in the fields.

Jack rescues Jesse from being hurt by three wicked men. In this confrontation, Jack gets to use his quick draw skills. Ben and Picard offer to stand with him, but Jack handles it alone. He uses this incident as a tool to influence Jesse
