    Prologue

Some people thought there was no true good or evil in the world, that there were only people who made good or bad decisions. Those people would be wrong. From the beginning of time, there has been a good and a bad; a right and a wrong; a light and a dark. And there are the demons and angels that rule over heaven and hell.

The strange thing about demons though, is that there is still something alive about them. They have some semblance of control over the havoc they wreak on the world. So one day, the demons decided they were tired of causing trouble for the angels alone. They were ready for something big, something that would forever change the nature of the world. The demons were tired of being the underdog. They were ready to come out on top.

When Lilith, the first demon, announced that she had discovered just the way to do that, the demons didn’t hesitate to jump on the opportunity. Destruction and chaos, after all, was how they thrived. What, they questioned darkly, was this creation? How would it change things for them? And would it cause the pesky humans pain?

Well, she explained, this is a mirror. But it’s not an ordinary mirror. It is a Dark creation. It reflects something or someone’s true nature onto the viewer.

The demons gathered around her didn’t understand the significance of this.

It does not only show the viewer, it changes the viewer’s true nature. The demons stared at her blankly.

Stupid beasts! she exclaimed. If we reflect our images onto the angels, it will corrupt all of heaven. The angels will Fall. We will rule over the world once again, just as Lucifer intended us to. It has been far too long that we have let these angels control us. We are just as strong, if not stronger, than they are. We will win this battle she seethed.

If the demons were still confused, they didn’t show it. They surrounded Lilith, cheering for their queen. Lucifer was missing. She was their savior.

That was until the Snow Queen showed up, and ruined all of her carefully crafted plans.
