A visiting man of the cloth drowns in the river that flows past the compound. The commune leaders invite Bevyn Jones to investigate. He teams up with Brother Kirk and Detective Watson again to solve the mysterious death. The investigation faces obstacles like conspiracy theories and flat out lies and subterfuge.

Bevyn delves into the drowned priest's past, uncovering less than saintly deeds and misdeeds. Evidence is hard-earned and hearsay plentiful. Bevyn faces the challenge of discovering the truth on a commune dedicated to denial.

David is a graduate of Concordia University's Creative Writing Program. He has published a detective novel, "The Boathouse Murders" under the Bevyn Jones Series. This is his first collections of short stories. When David is not writing, he works as a technical writer and translator. He is currently working on a second book in the Bevyn Jones Series called, "Murder at Matins".
