All while raising her two fantastic boys as a single mom.  Dawn decided to start recording audiobooks. Knowing nothing about the process, she began learning and transformed a simple home setup into a home studio, a sequence marked by a third fateful day in her life when she decided to quit dabbling and get serious. TREE OF DEATH

The ancient graveyard was surrounded by a high wrought iron fence taller than a man and much newer than many of the graves within the area it contained. Most of the headstones were so chipped and degraded that they had practically returned to the rock from which they were made. Others were worn by the frequent rains until names and dates had faded beyond recognition.

Soon, those headstones would turn to dust as well. For now, they still had a few hundred years of life left to them.

And on occasion there was an unmarked grave that had a disturbing picture of the deceased posted above it, just in case a family member came along and recognized a lost relative. Many of the photographs had yellowed to brown, some even having gone black, beneath the bright sunny days and the rainy nights. It didn’t matter with pictures that old; any grieving family would be just as gone from life as the image was from the
