Zharia
Iwas sitting in my living room watching the ID Channel when I heard banging on my door. I figured it was Kaelen because I ignored his texts earlier. He apologized for not coming through on our date yesterday and I left his ass on read. He texted back and said he was coming through in a lil bit, but I ignored that one too.
Boom Boom!
WHO IS IT?
I yelled
It’s Kaelen open up and stop fuckin’ playin’ with me Zharia!
he yelled back at me.
Not gone happen. You can gone on back to the bitch you was with yesterday nigga!
5... 4... 3... 2… 1.
Is this nigga counting or am I hearing shit? I couldn’t even finish my thoughts because BOOM! He kicked my shit down!
You paying for my shit Kaelen! What the hell you want, man?
I was livid cause he broke my fucking door.
I was coming to see if you wanted to do dinner and a movie, I’m tryna apologize for yesterday.
He was talking about him standing me up yesterday. I chuckled at him and rolled my eyes while staring at this fool like he was a whole snack with his caramel skin, sexy ass smile that was showing all thirty-two teeth. He was about 5’6 with waves that I wanted to ride with a surf board, with his grey jogging shorts, a plain white Vans T-shirt and some grey and white Vans with the fitted Vans hat.
Girl stop fucking staring at me. You can get this dick when we come back from our date.
He smirked!
I never agreed to this date tho,
I said standing with my hand on my hip and my right foot tapping the floor.
You honestly didn’t have a choice. I’ll be back at 7:30.
He left out of what used to be door.
Kaelen, you need to fix this door homeboy.
He’s always flashing that smile I like.
I got you. I’m bouta send my boy over here and to fix it, go get ready.
He jumped in the car and pulled off.
Shaking my head, I just proceeded to clean the house and find something to wear for this date I didn’t agree to... Who the hell was I kidding? I was excited but he would never know that; I chuckled to myself.
My name is Zharia Danielle Smith and I’m 28-years-old. I’m from Detroit but I moved to Atlanta three years ago when I got an interview with the school district here about my position. I was so excited, but I was mad because I had to leave my old life to start a new one. I was so glad that my bestie, Passion, moved with me. My mom stayed in Detroit for two years then she found a job and moved here. Passion owns a little lounge that slap every weekend and when she’s not doing that, she’s doing nails and she is a beast at it. She’s trying to open up a small nail salon and I’m very supportive cause my girl will hustle like no other. I graduated with my master’s in communication, I’ll have my degree in business soon and I’ll buy me a building so I can make it into a community center. I would like for the kids to have a lot of activities after school and on the weekends. I love teaching the kids sign language. I have been doing sign language since middle school and I really enjoyed it. I work at this school in downtown Atlanta; I enjoyed my job to an extent. It’s too many petty, miserable old grown folks that work here and they pay attention to everyone else’s business instead or theirs or their classwork. I’m ready for my own building though, I love working with kids, which is why I’m still here.
I started cleaning the living room then made my way thru the rest of the house. I stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment with a huge living room and a huge dining area, a nice size kitchen with marble over the counter tops and the cabinets. My kitchen was grey and white with marble mixed in; it was gorgeous. As I made my way up the stairs, I was thinking about this date; I was excited because I’d liked him since high school. When we graduated, I went to college and we stayed in contact for about a month, then we just stopped talking. I have been teaching for 2 years now and on the weekends or my off days, I chill with my best bitch, Passion, at her bar serving drinks; it’s fun and it’s the spot if you tryna get a big balling nigga better known as a dealer of some sort.
It’s six already,
I said lowly to myself as I got the shower ready for me. I would just look in the closet and find me something when I get out, because after cleaning and washing clothes all day, I’m really tired but I wanna see Kaelen’s fine ass.
What’s up, you ready Zhar?
Kae was smiling, but I’m tryna figure out how he got in here again.
How did you get in my house first? Then we can go,
I said that while grabbing my jacket and purse
You know my boy came and fixed that damn door, and he gave me the second key.
He shrugged and walked out the door like that is normal or some shit.
Umm, I’m gone need my key and I hope our first stop is food, cause I’m starving,
I said and started turning up the radio. He just shook his head and started driving.
We made it to the restaurant in twenty minutes, it was packed but he already had our table reservered I was thankful cause my feet were hurting already in these heels. After we ate our food, we went to the beach and walked in the sand. I was kinda happy too cause I took those shoes off and walked in the soft sand. It was eleven, so it wasn’t that bad outside; the breeze was nice and cool. He pulled me back to him and I melted into his chest, he smelled so good.
Why you keep walking so fast?
He pulled my hand into his.
I’m not walking fast. I think you’re just walking slow.
he sat on a bench and pulled me into his lap.
Why you keep playing games Zhar?
I couldn’t help but smile at him.
What am I playing games about Kae?
I asked him while looking out at the beautiful beach, it was such a pretty blue.
Why you won’t be my woman Zharia?
The look I gave him caused him to chuckle.
You never asked me to be yo woman and you got to many hood rats for me. I’ll be in somebody’s jail.
I laughed
I don’t have no
hoodrats. He used air quotes.
I just got bitches that always want to ride my dick or suck it." He shrugged and laughed.
That’s even worse Kaelen, that’s why we won’t work now!
I turned my face up to him and he just smiled with his cocky ass.
Oh, we gone work out, just give us time.
He tapped my thigh so we could continue our walk.
We talked some more about our jobs, and what we wanted in the future. It was so easy to talk to Kae, he had his own construction company and was trying to open up another one. I was surprised cause I haven’t talked to him in like 8 months, then he hit me on Facebook, and we connected again. He was looking like a whole menu; I had to shake those thoughts or else my panties were gonna be soaked. I told him about me wanting to get a building so I could teach sign language in my own facility and I wanted to be a interpreter for the hearing impaired one day also. I wanted something to call me own. When I have kids, I’ll teach them as well so when I’m not here anymore, my shit will still be good.
Pulling up to my house, it was time to start the departure speech. I really had a nice time with you tonight.
Here he goes with this grabbing my hand again and his skin was so smooth.
I enjoyed you as well, we should do this again,
I said before I realized what I said, here he went with this cocky shit.
Let me find out you like the kid now,
he said laughing and I did too. He was so silly.
No, I don’t. You’re just a cool ass person.
I smiled at him and before I could pull the handle to the open the door, he locked it and I looked at him. He unlocked his door, walked around to my door and told me to unlock my door. I did as I was told, and he opened the door.
Whenever you with a real nigga, you don’t open doors.
I smiled and got out.
Good night Kae.
Good night Zhar. I’ll be texting you soon.
He got in his truck and pulled off.
Walking in the house, I got in the shower and after I was done, I put on my Bath and Body Works warm vanilla, that was my favorite. I FaceTimed my best bitch since the sandbox, Passion.
Wassup bitch, spill the motherfuckin tea!
she yelled like I couldn’t hear her ass. I just started laughing.
See, that’s why I loved her crazy ass! Passion is a handful, but I wouldn’t trade her for nothing She was a manager at a bar downtown, we went to the same college and graduated the same day. She didn’t have any kids, had her own house own car; she stayed hustling. Her ex got killed a couple months back and she was just now getting back to her old self. I was happy cause I needed my sister-friend.
Hey boo, we didn’t do much but go out to eat and walked the beach for a minute. You know he owns a construction company?
Bihh, he gone build me a house, shid and what else? Cause I know you kissed him or something as much as I listened to yo ass whine,
she said straight faced.
No bitch, I didn’t kiss him. I don’t know where his mouth been, even tho them lips was looking scrumptious.
I laughed
We talked some more and made a lunch date for tomorrow afternoon. When we hung up, I got in the shower, wrapped my hair up, brushed my teeth and soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.

Kaios
Idropped Z off, and I really didn’t want to because she looked so good and she’s so sweet, gentle, and funny as hell. She stood about 5’4, so that went good with my 6’2 frame. She had her long black hair hanging down her back, she’s also got a nice round ass, with nice D cup titties. I would love to come home and slap and watch it jiggle while she’s in the kitchen; you know some freaky shit like that. She brings out the sensitive part in me when I’m around her, I try to act all hard and shit, but I be failing. It’s just so easy to talk to her, she listens so well and gives great advice; that’s what I always liked about her.
When we graduated from high school, we kept in contact for a minute, but I ended up doing two years in Wayne County on some fuck ass gun charge. I actually knew the judge, so he was lenient with me, but he told me if he saw me again in this court room, I was doing the maxium. It wasn’t shit left in Detroit for me anyway. My parents got shot up at a red light when I was 13, so I was in the system
