    Ryen swiped the key card against the door lock. The light turned green, and he pushed down on the handle to open it. Shoving it wide, he let Gina enter the hotel room first before following after her.

    She tugged on her suitcase, rolling it over to the opposite side of the bed. Ugh! I’d forgotten how tiny New York hotel rooms are! You’d think for the money we’re spending, we’d get something a little larger than a shoebox.

    Ryen chuckled. We didn’t come all the way to New York City to spend time in our hotel room. How big of a room do you need? Look, we got a king-size bed, a TV, a baby fridge and microwave, and a bathroom. What else were you wanting? A spa? Your own personal pool?

    She rolled her eyes at him. Ha, ha.

    Parking his own bag on his side of the bed, he vanished inside the bathroom to relieve himself. Please tell me you can turn around in there without bumping into anything! she yelled at him.

    There was the sound of flushing, and he reappeared, zipping up his jeans. Actually, it’s a lot roomier in there than I expected. There’s a walk-in shower.

    She stared at him. Instead of a tub shower?

    Yeah! Go look if you don’t believe me.

    It wasn’t that she didn’t trust him. It was that she wanted to see it for herself.

    Yep, it was a walk-in shower, with full glass door and walls from floor to almost ceiling. This is nice, she admitted. It even has the soap, shampoo, and conditioner as pumps attached to the wall. None of those teensy bottles you can barely squeeze.

    Hey! I like those teensy bottles! her husband called
