A MYSTERY OF TEEN GIRL
NOT AN ORPHAN
Must Know This Tragedy, Thriller
CHAPTER ONE
Kate was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Williams. She was embattled at a very tender age when her parents were assassinated. All these started, a day after his father, William and Akpos, her uncle had a misunderstanding.
Mr William, his wife, Navella and Kate were all in the sitting room having a nice time after church service on Sunday as a family. Suddenly, there was a strange knock on the door, Kate rushed to check who was at the door through the peephole. She announced, Big daddy!
William and Navella were surprised because Mr Akpos, William's elder brother did not inform them he would be coming. Open,
William managed to say. Kate opened the door and Akpos came in. William and his wife stood up to greet him, Brother, welcome, you didn't inform me you would be coming,
he politely express his mind. Do I have to send a letter or go to the radio station to announce before I come to your house?
he asked as he sat on the couch. Anyway,
he continued, I have come, I need some money. It’s a little money though, it's just a sum of five hundred thousand naira.
He paused. William, who was already infuriated on his seat could not conceal his anger. He asked, Where do you think I get money from? You just bagged into my house anytime, asking for money. What of the one you collected last week? You cannot be doing me anyhow, I will not take it, I’m not your money making machine.
Navella, who was tapping her husband to keep quiet, could not withstand the rage in her husband's face, she quickly moved to where Kate was and pushed her towards her room. They both left the sitting room, leaving William and his brother. William, so I have turned to an object of ridicule in your house, because I asked you for money? No problem, I have seen enough.
Akpos stood up, adjusted his Agbada, he turned to the door and left the house.
Navella came out with tears in her eyes. William, what have you done? I always tell you to be careful with these people. I know you were angry but you should have controlled yourself.
I am angry, Navella, who do they take me for? Nobody ever calls to greet me, nobody ever calls to know how I am faring, but they all call for money, packing all their problems on my head, I am tired
William lamented. Kate listlessly came out of her mother's room, she was not that little, she was 15 years old. So, she knew something was wrong. She was not
