Poetic Messages Inspired by the Holy Spirit - Ruth E Downer

    Foreword

    Dear Reader,

How do you paint a picture of our savior’s love, wisdom, and guidance through words? With all of the love in her heart this is what my precious friend and sister, Ruth, has done on the pages of this book.

While being inspired by our Lord and Savior, Ruth has taken the wisdom given to her through many hours of study, prayer, and meditation. She has transformed it into messages of love, hope, and redemption that only God can provide.

I know the depth of wisdom and love that is received by anyone who is fortunate enough to spend time with Ruth, because I am her best friend and sister in Christ and have been for over thirty years. Ruth has an empathetic sense of knowing that can only be described as a gift from God. She does not take this gift lightly and is in constant awareness of the responsibility placed upon those who share God’s word.

As you read through the sentiments and words of love shared in this book by Ruth, you will see a heart dedicated to God and all He has for us, a heart whose only desire is to reach hearts in need of His comfort.

    With God’s Love,

    Julie A. Wiginton,

    BSN, RN

    Introduction

I love the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit with all my heart, soul, and mind. No words can truly express how grateful I am to share in the Holy Spirit’s supernatural divinity. A divine help that has inspired me to write these poetic messages. Through these poems, the Holy Spirit is relating to us in ways that transcend love, encouragement, long sufferings, and truth, all the while reminding us of the power, grace, and mercy of the heavenly Father. I carry these messages with me as I eat, sleep, and breathe. And with that, I write from my heart to yours.

I often say, There’s a scriptural solution to every problem. So, the next time you find yourself in fear or pain remember that life here is not without suffering. It’s only here with Jesus that our lives are not in vain. I pray these Spirit-filled messages continue to walk with you through this life and into eternity.

    thank you, God,

    for patience

    when my faith

    and that includes

    listening

    when You tell me

    what to do…

    my heart is overflowing

    with Your messages

    to share

    and I’ll wait with

    bated breath

    until the next

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

    I pray that you

    do too and loving

    thy neighbor is

    what He said to do

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
