A Volume of Poetry 1 - Tiffany Moseley

A WARNING TO ALL: This volume of poetry contains poetry written from the time I was sixteen years old to now. I write as I feel so some poetry will be dark, and some may not be appropriate for younger audiences. This poetry will be covering my love, my agony, my sadness, as well as my revered moments. Overall, I am proud of my works. I hope my poetry will speak to you as it has me. Keep in mind with some poetry being written in my teens, it may sound what some of you will call, angsty, or Edge Lordish for the younger audience. Most of my teenage works have been left unedited and in raw form.

The Day Summer and Winter Collided
Not many remember that day
That very day,
The day in which Summer and Winter Collided
On that day it was very strange indeed
Frozen flowers
With warm winter pools
The sun beckoning as hard as it could
With few patches of snow gone
And very few patches of green shown
On that very day one could plant a seed
And could make frozen snow cones as well
The stars known to summer and winter collided
And spectrals of ice made their way into lush forests
Cold rain fighting to cling to branches and power lines
And as both seasons come to a close they give way to spring
Kneel
They will all kneel before me
And they will all pay for their sins
They have accosted me much
And I will make their knees bend before me
Their pain will never surmount to mine
But they’ll wish they hadn’t awoken that morning
Once I have every knee bent
I will have their tongues cut out so they can never lie again
I will have their fingers boiled to the bare bone
And I will make them beg for
