Tales of Our Boys and Other Critters - Bonnie Louise Smith-Davis
Dedication
Dear Mom,
You smiled and held this manuscript close to your heart about the rescued boys you lovingly helped raise. You and Dad instilled in me the love of words, creative thought, and the joy of putting pencil to paper. You were my editor, my inspiration and my compassionate, gentle guide in God's beautiful world. I know you see this from Heaven and smile with delight as I tell these stories just as they were first told to you. My dearest friend and confidant, my heart. Here it is.
Your daughter,
Bonnie Louise

Didn’t matter. They depend on me to feed them, clean their cages, hold or pet them, brush and bathe them as required. And most of all pay attention to them as living creatures of God whom we respected and cared for in life.
Having a pet is a commitment. I got told
by the animals when they were unhappy with my treatment, and
