I am a self-proclaimed "nerd" who loves movies, music, comic books, and sci-fi novels and is willing to discuss the finer points in superhero lore. I have always wanted to write and illustrate a children's book for several years now. When my daughter was born, and I went on paternity leave, I decided that it would be now or never.
