It Started with a Dream: How to Find Your Dream

About this ebook
OG Mandino, one of my favorite authors, has a vow, it is: "I promise... I swear... I vow... to never forget the greatest talent God has bestowed on me is the power to pray." Remember his vow! My favorite song is "The Prayer," by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. Listen to it.
It doesn't matter where you are in your life right now... find yo

Acknowledgments
There are not words enough to thank my totally awesome sons: Dale, Clint, and Justin Burr Scott. I literally could not have made it without all your support through the years.
Then, of course, there are Kim, Lauren, and Aman, my three strong, kind, beautiful daughters.
You are true treasures to me.
Last, but certainly not least, I thank God for Courtney and Andrew, Cole, Cameron, Dylan, Caroline, Ava, Mia, Layla, and Travis. I carry you all in my heart, always.
Where would we be without prayer? Kudos to Judy Crow for always praying me through, and Pat Deweese Woods for listening to all of us!
A big thank you to Charlotte Guevara for your generous, caring heart. Without you, this book would not have happened.
Appreciations
It did not take me long to realize I had met a very special woman seventeen years ago. Catherine is not only a woman that uses her special relationship with God to do good for friends and community. She knows when someone needs a phone call or a visit. Just when you need her, she is there. What I love about her is she never judges or pushes her beliefs; she just lives them. She helps you see how God is always walking with you even if you don’t realize it at the time. She listens to God and reaches out to help those who need His help. Catherine loves everyone, even those who are hard to love. She lives her faith and shares God through her love. Yes, a very special woman, indeed. A woman I am proud to call my friend.

In our lives, we have had many mentors, friends, and caregivers, and Catherine represents the best in all those areas. She really cares about people, she is non-judgmental, and has an inner-intuitive skill that allows her to say the right thing at the right time to help the human condition.

Catherine has been our friend for twenty-two years. We have witnessed her first-hand in her ministry of caring for people as she shows them how the Lord is working in their lives.

Prologue

If someone asked you to define or explain spiritual gifts,
as it pertains to Christianity, could you? I am sure most of us proclaimed followers of Christ and devoted readers of God’s Word could at least provide some sort of explanation. As much as we might be able to explain and identify the different spiritual gifts given to each one of us by the Holy Spirit, could we list our gift, or gifts, with absolute certainty? If so, do we know what to do with them or even when to use them? We know that every Christian is given at least one spiritual gift that is to be used for the building up and edification of the church. But are we truly using our gift(s) for this purpose, no matter the consequences, to our life here on Earth? I know I have asked too many questions perhaps, but my goal is to have you think
