Numbers 4:15 (KJV)

And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

COMMENTARY

Whenever the camp moved through the wilderness, Aaron and his sons were in charge of covering all the vessels of the sanctuary. Aaron’s son Kohath and his sons were in charge of carrying the tabernacle furniture. They were forbidden to TOUCH any holy thing, lest they die. Jesus is a picture of the HOLY THING that we can TOUCH! Hallelujah!

Behold My ands and My feet, that it is I Myself: HANDLE ME, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see Me have. (Lu. 24:39, KJV)

For we have not an HIGH PRIEST which cannot be TOUCHED with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Heb. 4:15, KJV)

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our HANDS HAVE HANDLED, of the Word of life; (1 Jn. 1:1, KJV)

COMMENTARY

God delights in being outnumbered by man’s perspective!

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be WITH US ARE MORE than they that be with them. (2 Kings 6:15-16, KJV)

Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be MORE WITH US than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but WITH US IS THE LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. (2 Chron. 32:7-8, KJV)

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD. (Is. 54:17, KJV)

COMMENTARY

KEEP His commandments and you will BENEFIT!

And it shall come to pass, IF thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to DO all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these BLESSINGS shall come on thee, and overtake thee, IF thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. (Deut. 28:1-2, KJV)

HONOUR thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with PROMISE), That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest LIVE LONG on the earth. (Eph. 6:2-3, KJV)

For he that will LOVE LIFE, and see GOOD DAYS, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. COMMENTARY

We need both VISION and LAW!

VISION:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a PERFECT MAN, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Eph. 4:13, KJV)

But speaking the truth in love, may GROW UP into Him in all things, Which is the Head, even Christ: (Eph. 4:15, KJV)

I press toward the mark for the prize of the HIGH CALLING of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:14, KJV)

LAW:

If ye know these things, HAPPY are ye if ye DO them. (Jn. 13:17, KJV)

For all the LAW is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself. (Gal. 5:14, KJV)

But whoso looketh into the perfect LAW of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a DOER of the work, this man shall be BLESSED in his deed. (Ja. 1:26, KJV)

COMMENTARY

HIS NAME IS JESUS!

For I CAME DOWN from heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him That sent Me. (Jn. 6:38, KJV)

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, Which is TAKEN UP from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven. (Acts 1:11, KJV)
