hen you write about Life Happens Now What The Fuck, it ventures off into millions of topics, choices, and interpretations because the title is actually two subjects in one. It's like getting one chocolate bar with two bars inside for the price of one, which they cut in half to make you think you're getting more and added a peanut on top. Genius.
I guarantee, it might appear from the title that I am offering two chocolate bars, but I have crammed everything into one solid offering.
Life happens at every moment, changing the environment; we are experiencing along the way. We can pretend we control events, but in reality, life has to play out first before we can do anything. Like a baseball game, the picture has the ball, and the batter can't do anything until the ball gets released from the pitcher's hand.
When life happens, it just happens, or in the confused what is happening, or the insecure, why is this happening, or the neuroscientist explaining how this is happening, or in the medically governed controlled marijuana users, hey this is really happening to me, when life happens it just happens, what we do next is where we take control.
The more we can align ourselves with events and what has happened, the better we become. When we are in alignment with our lives, we no longer fight the present moment. We accept events as they happen then adapt to the reality of what has happened.
Reacting and getting lost is a normal and human experience for most people. Life happens, you react, rinse, and repeat, it seems normal. Living inside the event becomes the way of life until you are ready to release yourself from the event. Some events can pass in moments, others may take years, and even a lifetime, in the end, it becomes a choice for how long we stay inside.
People are creatures of habit, so when we get fixated on how we're supposed to react or how we're supposed to view events, we are not opening ourselves to what is possible. Let's face it, the good, the bad and the ugly, life happens to everyone, no one is immune.
Putting together a plan on how we deal with the events is crucial in life. The death of a loved one, an illness, winning the lottery, moving to Greece, a car accident, being stung by a bee, the collapse of your business, new job, new relationship or hitting the snooze on your alarm clock for the 5th time and now you're late for work. These events come with built-in reactions, could there be a better way to react and process them?
When you get to a point and your screaming now what the fuck……! don't worry, this is a good sign because you're willing to accept that you just haven't figured it out yet. You're not locked and loaded with your automatic response mechanism, where most of society is programmed.
The more we try to understand why something happened, the more we get lost in our minds and add extra layers of thought, which only clouds our judgments growing forward. The other side of what has happened is where we live our lives, not being trapped inside.
When we have a system in place, we take control of our lives. We can't change anything; we can only change how we grow forward, and that is where we need to live.
A life is something you grow, not something you exist in. Growing represents moving towards something greater than where you are at this present moment. So you will notice I am continually using the word grow as a substitution in many words.
Moving forward in life and growing your life is good. Even when life hands you, it's worse; we still have to figure out how we grow our lives forward. When your life is headed in the right direction where every event makes you stronger, and this is your mindset, you are now becoming a master of your life.
Life happens because I make it happen!
Life Happens
Now What The Fuck!
L
ife happens now what the fuck. Life is happening to you or for you. No complications here, just a straightforward observation. Each day above ground is a good day, and everyday below ground is a bad day. Just like that, we have established the parameters of life, so the moral of the story, stay above ground!
Life happens whether we want to participate or not, and these are the rules laid down for us to follow. We don't have a choice on the events; the only part we control is our actions and decisions to move our lives forward. Each event and decision has the potential to change the direction of your life forever.
Life is 10% happening, and 90 % reacting. We are responsible for our reactions, and ultimately the decisions we make moving forward. Our actions in every situation will eventually lead us to how we proceed through each life event. Events happen all the time, only one problem: the average person makes 773,618 decisions over their lifetime on these events and situations.
Some could be as simple as hitting the snooze button on the alarm or as life-changing as getting married. They can also be in-depth about how we accept the news that a loved one has just passed away and how to move on from there. Our actions and decisions become the key to understanding how life Happens and why life Happens.
Each decision takes an average of nine minutes to make; researchers have determined that four hours a day is lost in thought. How they figure these facts out is beyond me. Out of our lifetime of choices, 143,262 are decisions we will regret. Yikes!
Decisions and events add up like a maze of never-ending twists and turns, leading to where you are right now. Add in over seven billion of them happening simultaneously, and now you have the cornucopia of planet earth. We are all unique in our lives, from birth to death. Every face has a story, and every story has a face.
Believing life is happening to you, you are now in victim mode. You have lined your troops and thoughts on the side of reaction, and now every event plays out as this is happening to you. It becomes tough to see past your environment because you have established yourself deep in the trenches of victimhood. You blame the situation for your life on everything, not realizing that you are the one in control and the creator of your own life.
If life is happening for you, this would be victory mode. Now events become a choice of how we react in every situation, determining our next action. Accepting life's events as they are presented, making better decisions as you move forward. This becomes a chance to learn as every event and decision becomes our teacher. When we take control of life, we control our reactions, actions, and conclusions systematically. The new mindset we start to develop over time.
Recap
Above ground good day, below ground bad day, 10% is happening, and 90% is reacting to what is happening, we control our decisions and fuck we got a lot of them to make, and finally, I can live in victory or become a victim in life.
Recap of the recap
The idea here is to stay above ground for as long as possible to experience the greatest gift LIFE.
Grilled Cheese - Early days
I used to get upset when my grilled cheese sandwich got burnt. You see, I loved dipping my grilled cheese into tomato soup. Nobody wants to eat tomato soup with bits of burnt toast floating around PLEASE. The grilled cheese sandwich was awesome on its own, the tomato soup was as awesome on its own, yet together they formed the perfect coagulation of a solid form (grilled cheese) and the liquid form (tomato soup).
As a kid, could life get any better when you discover the perfect food combination? Like a dancer inside the dance, a painter inside the brush and the melted cheese inside the bread with tomato soup dripping down. It wasn't until later in life I discovered that cheese was my worst nightmare for allergies. Who knew that the perfect food combination resulted in a constant runny nose, eyes as red as strawberries, and itchy as wool on a lamb. Now, don't
