Manna of Holy Spirit

You have your own pattern of eating physical food to nourish yourphysical body.

Some of you eat a large meal all at once and then nothing more until the next mealtime.

Others of you enjoy frequent small portions, and some of you munch.

You and your body have agreed on what works for you.

Your spirit, however, is not made for such meals.

It is made for bits and pieces, spread out at different intervals.

Each bit and piece is a meal in itself.

These intervals are irregular because digestion takes however much time Holy Spirit requires to settle the bits and pieces into your spiritual self and your personal spiritual body for their best results according to God’s Will and Purpose in you, for you, and through you.

It is Holy Spirit Who directs these meals and their digestive process, unseen by your eye.

What happens when you overeat spiritually is you steer yourself out of His guidance line for you and you become overweight from nourishments you cannot assimilate out-of-His-timing for you, and you do not develop in the image He seeks to form in you.

Instead, you develop into a religious image, walking a walk of your own understanding.

Our own understanding has no standing in the Kingdom of God.

Any more than our own righteousness can stand alongside of the Savior’s.

Our righteousness is in and through Jesus Christ’s alone.

Our understanding is by and through Holy Spirit alone, into our spirit, not into our head.

Our walk, likewise, cannot be apart from Holy Spirit fulfilling His Offices in us.

God, the Father, has made full provision for you to come into knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior by drawing you to Himself in the most perfect way for you.

He understands and knows you thoroughly, and cares for you perfectly.

Through His Faith-Provision to you, you become born anew by a specific internal work of and by His Holy Spirit so that you are changed into a being of God.

As a being of God, you will be led into a new way of life in fellowship with His Spirit…

Who ushers you out of the past/old/crippling/hurt-filled/going nowhere life, into the New Life-of-Light [High Knowledge & Understanding] of the Kingdom of God in Time.

The baptism with/in/by Holy Spirit is identified as a baptism of fire because He processes you out of the old while He also transports you into the New; which the old objects to.

The old and the New have nothing in common; the New is foreign to you without Him taking you there and teaching you as He takes you.

He knows every step you’ve walked in the past. He knows each step He will take you through, as your Teacher and Mentor, throughout all of your future with Him.

His Way is His perfect way for you.

You will never be sorry.

About The Author

Lee Winnan is not your everyday Christian and she will be the first to agree. She calls herself a Faith-Walker and a Kingdom-Connection in her sojourn. Along the way she is also an Intercessor-Warrior for the un-prayed-for who are brought to her attention for the purpose of breaking bonds that cripple their lives.

In her lifetime she has churched much in many of the mainline denominations because there was much moving about in her life. A number of years ago God drew her apart from churching to Teach her and Mentor her Himself in the Way He has for her life, by Holy Spirit. His instruction to her in that drawing-out period was Matthew 6:33–Seek ye first the Kingdom of God [to be governed by Him], and His righteousness for you [His Way for you], and all things that you have need of shall be added unto you as a matter of course. He went further, on two separate occasions eight years apart, and commanded her to, "Lean heavily upon Me for every thing. For every thing." He detailed what He meant but even with His words she could not have prepared herself for the hardships that would lie ahead across her lifeline. In hardships He taught her how to lean, heavily.

Drawing her away from churching has meant considerable criticism. The first thing a church person asks her is, What church do you go to? When they learn she does not attend a particular church they drop her like a hot potato, after accusing her with a single verse about ‘not forsaking the gathering of yourselves together.’ Church–centered people think that the only way to be a believer is through church attendance and the only way to be taught is by a human. Lee is Christ-centered and obedient to the commands of God for her. Sometimes she longs for ‘churching’ but each time she returns to that environment the Lord draws her away in just a few days, No. This is not for you.

She has always been somewhat of a loner in life because she has had no people, but one day she said to the Lord, Lord, I know You’ve drawn me apart, and I’m ok with that, but shouldn’t I have more friends? I’m part of Your Family. The Lord’s reply was unexpected: Don’t be concerned with how many friends you have. I want you to Friend those I bring to you. She does this constantly. Friending in the Lord’s way is quite different from being merely friendly in general. It requires that she listen to the prompting of Holy Spirit for how to Friend those He brings to her, and in the process He has given her many friends.

A few years later she said to Him, You’ve made so many changes in me that I feel like I don’t know who I am anymore. Who am I? Again, His reply was unexpected when He said, You are I Am Also. You are a piece of wind in My Hand. I put you where I want you to be, when I want you to be there, for My Will and Purpose. This is your life.

Lee is a Vessel in Vesselship, being molded by Holy Spirit for God’s Way in her, for her, and through her to others. She knows who and what she is in Christ and in His Body; and she continues to exchange out her life-in-time for God’s Life-in-Time for her.

No matter how deep the Ocean-of-Life’s waters become, Holy Spirit has trained Lee to lean heavily upon Him for every thing and to be anxious for nothing–which is the Faith-Rest Technique. Lee writes the way she talks. She writes and talks what she knows.

A Friend

Author Bio

Dear reader… to give you a biography of myself is complicated… I am not about where I was born, or where I grew up… or where I went to school… or what my studies and interests were. Or what my career has been… or what my natural interests are. I will tell you that I was born in Montana and attended Montana schools and colleges… I married young and my husband and I had four children together… we divorced one another three times and by the fourth time we knew we would never be happy together and we stopped trying. That is not a sad thing for those of you who believe that marriage is sacred and that it always follows ‘the rules’ for happiness, etc., etc. I knew that my husband was the man I was to be married to but we were a mixed marriage. I was a believer all my life and he came from a familyline of non-believers and nothing was going to change him. Nothing was going to bring us into compatibility in any area of our lives.

It would be many years later that Holy Spirit would explain to me what His Purpose was for bringing us together and making it possible for us to remain together in such a hit-or-miss relationship. When God explains something there is no arguing about it… His way is Sovereign and more meaningful than we can know and His Mind on a thing is to be accepted with joy because His purposes are Eternal. He sees us as soul/spirits; we see ourselves in the framework of humanity-in-time. His view is the Important One.

I did go to college but not all at once… I squeezed college coursework into my life amongst everything else. I started out with a Major study in mind but in 1986 when I again returned to my studies, Holy Spirit demonstrated a fact of Eternals that I couldn’t know without His disclosure to my spirit.

I was taking an afternoon break in our sun room… my one son was wheelchair bound and I was standing before the Lord in Faith for his life while I ‘got on with living for us’. This particular day, as I sat down and was Listening,… Holy Spirit said, Open your Bible… I opened my Amplified Bible at random and it fell at Jeremiah 1. My eyes fell upon the 5rh verse where He explained to me that He knew me before I was formed in the womb, that I was already His, for His Purpose… and then He began to explain His Purpose for me as His Vessel, and just like that my entire life made sense to me in my soul/spirit.

He Directed me to enroll in the college of the city where I was then living. This would be the private Catholic College in Helena, Montana (that it was Catholic wasn’t the point… the point was that it honored God as Creator). He Directed me to major in Psychology but not to think this was about my becoming a Psychologist. He explained to me with a visual: showing me to hold my hands out before me, open. Then He explained with my left hand as the spirit, and my right hand as the soul, that church doesn’t know what to do with man’s spirit and psychology doesn’t know what to do with man’s mind/soul… then He led me to close my right hand over my left hand, saying that He cares about the whole man and that He would teach me how to work with Him with individuals that He would bring to me.

In the coming days I made my way to that college and enrolled as instructed for the coming school year. In addition I arranged courses in communications of writing and public speaking to learn these basics. I have always written and I had been a member of Toastmistress for several years but now I needed to know more.

I followed Instruction Given To Me… and continued along with life with my two children at home, which consisted of my adult son and one minor daughter. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the process of Obedience… it isn’t the same as making one’s own plans and following one’s own timetable. I enrolled in the courses, I continued with home responsibilities and continued Listening.

The following year Holy Spirit moved me to Billings, Montana, where I would continue folding studies into daily living, but not without interruptions. There would be a break in the college attendance for a few years as my son’s health deteriorated and finally he could no longer be mobile. His health was a Prayer Project of its own… and when I would later be shown the Key to that condition I would be shocked. It would nearly cripple me as well because I could not ‘fix it.’ It was tied into something far beyond what I could know of at that time, but the later revelations of it would play a role in my future of Obedience in working with those who God would bring into my life-space.

Attempting to second-guess what God is doing is foolishness… until He shows you, you won’t know what He’s doing. Why is that? Because in His All-Powerful Realm of Real-Reality He can’t even begin to show you… the limited scope of your human mind would blow up. He can show you a few glimpses but even those are complicated to your mind because you think ‘it should make sense’ to you. And later, usually years later, when He gives you Divine Understanding you nearly faint at His glorious plans and all the protections that were put into place… for you.

My entire Life consists of Listening to Holy Spirit’s Counsel, Directives, Teachings, Instructions of details that are Keys to the Ways of Heaven. He Teaches me Principles of how He thinks and how He works. He takes me into His Mind and explains the Eternal Keys of who and what we are in His Plans from before the Genesis… so that I have comprehension that there is a lot more to God than we have any idea of… and He is the Watchman over all things at all times for all souls… He has so humbled my humanity that I nearly give no thought to my humanity because of who I know I am in Him.

I write the way I write to you, as Sheep of His flock, because I know who you are in Him and I am to say so to you. I am to share things with you; to talk to you about things, and to tell you of some of the things He has shown me because you need to know more about Who He is for you. Fellowshipping with Holy Spirit is His method for you with Him… He has so much to share with you and to talk to you about and to tell you of so that you will have His Light shining into all areas of your soul/spirit and spilling out into you affairs-in-Time.

Fellowshipping with Holy Spirit is what I do and it must be this way because this is His Way for His Sheep… all of me is His and all of Him is mine… this is also His Way for you.

Why I Write This Book

Why am I writing this book? Everywhere I go I come into contact with Christians and I am made acutely aware that when my conversation acknowledges Holy Spirit’s ranking position in my relationship with God my words are thought of as strange [because I am given odd, polite looks]. If I talk about God, the Lord, the Savior, mention Jesus, or talk about church attendance, programs, missionaries, etc, etc, prayer groups, dinners; all of that, then there is rapport, but when I bring Holy Spirit into my conversation and honor His position in my life there is an uncomfortableness. I understand because in all the years of my church attending I never received sound teaching on His rightfully high rank for living The Life.

I now understand that this lack of teaching, coupled with God’s Purpose for my life, is why He drew me apart with a command to receive only from Him… that He would Teach and Mentor me. It took ten long yeas to separate me out because I didn’t grasp what He was requiring of me. This was unheard of. Didn’t I have to go to church? I had experienced His speaking to me directly from time to time but I did not understand that he intended that I only be taught by Him. Each time I would go to church for ‘food,’ I would not find the food He had in mind for me to have. I would leave with an empty feeling in my soul/spirit. Gradually He revealed that church attendance was not going to be on His Menu for me. I accepted His Way for me.

I experienced that His directive to me was going to be found unacceptable by others. This bothered me for a long time because rejection is uncomfortable. But the day arrived when I either wanted God’s Way for me, or I wanted acceptance. That was a no-brainer. I have been commanded to walk with Him and not miss the company of others when necessary to be without it. The upside of this commitment to His Will is that He brings fellowship to me with individuals who acknowledge His Spirit in them and we have joy whenever we are together. There is no ‘forsaking of the gathering with others’ on my part; there is just alignment with God’s Will and He supplies all the fellowship that He desires me to have. His provision is always perfect fellowship that blesses and nourishes mutually.

The reason I write this book is that I am directed to do so. I am a writer by His gift within me to write and now God has things for me to write with Him about. Namely, teaching the rightful place of Holy Spirit in the soul/spirit/life of the believer for every facet of their inner and outer lives. There is no Life without Him and if I mind that I can find few people to fellowship in the Spirit with, He minds it much more.

For many years I have known that I would write of the things Holy Spirit Teaches me. For the past few years a deepening pressure to be writing has built to the bursting point in me but I have been held back. Each new day my soul/spirit would reach for pen but God’s Spirit would whisper, Not yet. I would continue to journal with Him and He would continue to build me. I would remind him that I’m getting older and that ‘we should be doing this.’ His answer would be, Not yet.

In December of 2008 He said, Now. You can begin. He directed me to call a woman He had brought into my fellowship/friendship space, Vickie Swander, and requested that I talk with her about this writing project and to ask her if she would please be my Reader because she was trustworthy for its purpose and she would pray for it and for me faithfully. She has been the most ideal friend possible and I thank her always.

Her prayers have been vital because of adversarial opposition to the work. The adversary seeks constantly to prevent solid, practical, how-to food from penetrating into the soul/spirit of believers. A powerful prevention would be to hinder this book from being written. Opposing its success would be hindrance mechanisms set against its completion and marketing, and efforts to prevent readership. I was to write in a bold warrior-stance for you, the reader, and be covered by Vickie’s warrior-stance prayers over me.

You have been much prayed for.

Foreword

My whole approach in composing the Substance of this book has been to write to one Sheep. You. Just you. We are so accustomed to being spoken to as a group that a Key is lost to us. Holy Spirit talks to each one of us, individually. In His heart you are singular and He speaks to you, singularly. Perhaps you think He does this only occasionally but that He prefers to speak to you through Bible readings, sermons, devotional books, teaching materials, or some other way than direct.
