Sunday Summer - Anne Gaynelle Johnson
CHAPTER 1
Move-In-Day-Surprise!
It’s a bright sunny day in May. Clarice and Clark Summer have just moved into their new home that they’ve been saving money for five years to buy. It’s a ranch-style home with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. It also has a full basement, a den for Clark’s business, a formal dining room, a living room and a large kitchen with an island – with a family room in sight. says Clarice, it’s just telling us to expect a bundle of joy.
Clark jumps up and tenderly kisses Clarice. I love you, Mrs. Summer. You are my special lady. And I don’t want you standing on your feet so much,
he says as he sits
