About this ebook

I never once thought about this until someone asked me if my writings were prose or poetry. Well, I believe them to be a little of each, a novelty if you will. After all, everyone is different. A few are soundly different, meaning they carry my own thoughts, feelings, past actual events, and all the while, are dotted with my psychological expres

My profound interest in writing came about when I was very, very young. I remember my "Mother" reciting nursery rhymes to me. It wasn't so much the story but the usage of the words I heard. I felt I had the most perfect parents. I only wish I had been a better son. They never complained. I grew up feeling that my decisions mattered. I quit school when I was sixteen years old and studied poetry under Dr. Selma Bishop. It was one of the most rewarding times in my life. I was the youngest member of our group, surrounded by years of vast knowledge and experience. I was so fortunate to call each of them "my friend." When I turned seventeen years old, I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Years later I joined the U.S Navy. I found each branch fascinating and sometimes a little dangerous. I'm just like everyone else. "A Little Different" and my past is my (Muse)!

    Since I wrote this book, I'm expected to be a little bias; I wanted to share with you an error in the last poem entitled
    {Sinedie}, in the last stanza it should read : Now hear me my love M-Jane!
    The antidote for potion rendered,
    Allows in portion this anecdote
    To survive;
    Bury not a dream too far,
    Or weigh a rendezvous...

    Alas; no love could near
    My love,
    M-Jane.
    Portion is replaced with potion and rendevous is replaced with rendezvous. I've never read any book that didn't
    have an error in it, but in poetry, one word could change the poem. I call my style of poetry {Simple Free Verse}, and
    I apologize for these mistakes.
