This manuscript workbook is dedicated to all who are led by the Spirit of the Lord to read and work with the Holy Spirit for His deliverance, and for the freedom to enjoy the life He has called us to live.

After completing a blessed, successful career as a United States Marine, I was led to begin my second career with the pursuit of becoming a licensed psychologist. When I completed my doctorate, my dear Marine friend called me Dr. Guns, short for my rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. Since I have been studying to become a licensed psychologist, my first post-doctoral internship was working with drug and alcohol addictions. During this timeframe, the Holy Spirit called me to write this manuscript. God began ministering to my soul by increasing my heart of compassion.

Having had a turbulent journey, as my testimony describes, the Holy Spirit has directed me to write my story—which has been challenging. The stories of others, in my opinion, have surely been greater than mine, but He directed me to share my life’s story.

I have grieved over the stories I’ve heard that have caused such destruction in the precious lives of others. I am so thankful that the God we serve loves us beyond our comprehension.

My dedication is to you: that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will do the work that only He can do in your lives. He has delivered me, healed my broken heart, restored me to wholeness, filled every empty void; and He continues to prosper and bless me and my family beyond my natural comprehension.

Be blessed, Beloved, as you read and go through the process of restoration with the Holy Spirit. He is the best friend you could ever hope for. Be patient with the process and have great expectations of what only God can do in your life.
