About this ebook

Just a few years ago, a new theory was invented by some of the social science departments in our universities. This theory stated that those who struggle to find unity between their perceived gender identity and the natal sex of their body were not, as we had always seen them to be, citizens with a psychological disorder. No. These citizens were people who had been born into the body of the wrong sex. They had been wrongly "assigned their sex at birth." Thus, women should be allowed to become men and vice versa. This unproven theory was then propagated through the Western media, and, today, it gains an ever-increasing level of influence over many aspects of our cultures.

However, citizens in many countries sense something is seriously amiss. They note that the implementation of this theory into laws and policies creates negative outcomes for many other groups in society. For example, many academics complain that they are now being required to publish research that they know lacks integrity. Some women athletes protest that they are being forced to compete against natal males. Citizens note that teenaged girls are having their breasts cut off, and teenaged boys are taking cross-sexed hormones that will make them sterile—both of which seem to be unpromising ways to create a flourishing future. Surely, they are too young to understand the challenges involved? So why is this happening?

In this book, I explore these issues. On my travels, I found that this invented theory creates far more social damage than it seeks to repair. It is highly toxic to our communities. I was led to wonder why academics would formulate a theory that would harm our nations. In the end, I seriously recommend that social representatives should stay well away from placing this deceptive theory into any law or policy. The outcomes lead us to destroy our democracies and weaken our nations.

    Introduction

This book didn’t start out as an attempt to explain a challenging issue that is currently afflicting many of our advanced democracies. I wanted to understand marriage and the role it plays in building civilizations.

However, as I traveled my explorative journey, I realized that we live in a unique moment in human history. And the more I realized the roots and inner workings of marriage, the more concerned I became about what was happening in our democracies today. As I looked into the data, I saw that sizable groups of both children and adults were struggling much more than those of the previous generation. The increased rates of incarceration, self-harm, deaths by drug overdoses, and numerous personal tragedies made for sober reading. I wondered if Western civilization had entered a death spiral.

I questioned how sensible people, in an age of extreme material abundance, advanced technology, and immense knowledge, had chosen to head down the pathway of self-destruction. Why would any culture that experienced heightened prosperity pursue an unpredictable and difficult future for their children and grandchildren? From a genetic viewpoint, it made little sense. My parents had sacrificed so I could have a better future. And their parents had sacrificed for them. And because of their sacrifices, most of the children born in the 1950s, on average, experienced more prosperity than their parents did. The same cannot be said for the next two generations. Many adolescents and young adults today are engaged in the most successful lives ever seen on planet Earth. However, around these flourishing groups, other groups of adults and children are wrestling in new, unforeseen ways on the margins of our developed societies. And the size of these disaffected communities continues to grow.

A question had to be asked: Was this decay the result of purposeful intent, or was it caused by unseen natural or historical forces—nations rising and falling? As I examined the data, I concluded that much of this erosion resulted from both focused design by various political forces and woeful lawmaking by ill-informed legislators.

In my research on the marital family, I found that almost every time that Western politicians have passed statutes related to sexuality and family formation, then social outcomes worsened in the next generation.

As this realization dawned on me, it seemed only sensible to clarify the root dynamics of the thinking process that was infecting our lawmaking and causing such decline. How can people who are trying to achieve something good through government policy not see that they are creating future harm? Once this dynamic became clear, it also seemed only sensible to explore how politicians were using this misguided thinking process on a current social issue, namely, the transgender issue.

Upon realizing that previous political interventions brought about a multiplication of social problems, I examined what kind of social impairment might result as the political realm fashioned laws based on the current, newly-minted understanding of transgenderism. Thus, this book came about.

In our Western democracies, social leaders are introducing an ever-increasing number of laws and policies which promote the central theme of this new transgender worldview. These laws give credence to the idea that a person with the physical body of a male can be legally seen to be a woman and vice versa. Many of these new laws and policies involve little public debate and lack the support of democratic or scientific processes. Many citizens are growing anxious over how these laws might negatively affect children and the wider society. They sense that something is seriously amiss.

This book seeks to explore how these laws and policies will affect us all. In my research, I found that, in attempting to improve a minute number of citizens’ lives, these laws and policies inflict far more social harm on the much larger majority.

My heart goes out to those who grapple with some form of a gender-related identity crisis. Many of these individuals face intense difficulties and often wonder why. I sincerely hope they can find the best way forward for their own lives. My sole concern is with the attempt, by unseen political activists, to take an issue that should be dealt with by psychologists and make it into a political issue. In doing this, we are all forced into a contorted relationship with the State and the demands of this new transgender legislation.

Some of us try telling our political leaders, Only trained counselors and psychologists might help those who are challenged with gender-identity issues. And they shout back, No, you citizens must help these complex individuals, and we will force you to do so through laws. And we will jail, fine, or fire you from your jobs if you don’t comply. In this misguided lawmaking, we all become subject to increasing levels of authoritarian demands. Our democracies become warped by legislative demands that ask citizens to repair what they cannot repair and embrace thinking they know is wrong.

This book explains that as laws increasingly force citizens to accept that men can become women and vice versa, then extensive social damage occurs. I hope readers will learn that we do not have to go down this path. One day, soon, we will have to re-learn that counseling and therapy are the best way to help those who have to contend with a confused gender identity. In my opinion, we need to stop and reflect upon the validity and larger impact of the transgender legislation we are currently developing.

I also hope that once readers can grasp the adverse outcomes that follow trans-lawmaking, then this awareness will empower them to live their lives more consciously for the sake of the future well-being of their children and society. I also believe readers can use their extensive level of competence and their sense of concern for their nations to put an end to this socially toxic legislation. For each reader, such involvement might mean something different. But I perceive we all have a role to play in preventing the harm that gender-fluid theory imposes on us all. Some of you may feel a need to talk with your political representatives and other social leaders, and some of you will take some form of citizen action in your sphere of influence. Certainly, we need to do something bold, and I hope this book inspires readers to reflect and take action.

In summary, I wrote this book with four primary goals in mind. First, I explore whether the politicization of the transgender issue is necessary. Second, I seek to explore the mindset that causes trans-legislation to be proposed and passed—even if we can see that it causes extensive harm to many people. Next, I look at the widespread social damage that trans-lawmaking brings about. And last, I illustrate how we might find a way out of the current, toxic, legislative difficulties our nations are facing.

This book presents an overview of some of the many issues in the world of transgender legislation. However, I do not mean it to be an exhaustive review of all the arguments or laws. Also, because trans-laws and policies are at a different stage of development in each Western democracy, I talk about these laws and policies in a generic sense, as if they already exist everywhere. This is because, one day soon, they probably will. I lay out, in simple terms, what happens to any society when the natural definition of what it means to be a man or a woman is played with by legislators and policymakers.

As a reader, you might find that you hold differing opinions or want to argue back at specific points. This is only to be expected. Issues around sexuality and gender are personal and sensitive, and it is difficult to talk about them without an emotional response. I am aware readers might become offended or upset. I apologize in advance if I haven’t expressed something in a sensitive enough way. All I am seeking to do is outline concepts that have been at the very core of the development of our human societies. Behind it all, my primary intention is to protect children, the next generation of citizens. If this book in any way achieves this aim, I will be satisfied.

I owe many people a big thank you. There are many wise people out there still fighting for sanity to reign on this issue. I would not have published this book without them. I also offer many thanks to all those friends who have helped me to edit this book and who have encouraged me in this project. They know who they are. I am particularly grateful to my wife for her continual support. As we talked together about the issues that this book raises, we have become increasingly conscious of the core values that our happiness and well-being are built upon.

    Chapter 1

It’s About the Ownership of Power

Orwell knew nothing. He did not hold a candle to this. The system he envisaged set out to break a man and to crush his will. But it was still a man that was being broken. What’s going on today is not an attempt to break a man but to redefine Man completely. Man has become Morph, and he is so malleable that he can be refashioned in any which way that the zeitgeist demands. Lop a bit off here, add it on there. Take a bit off there, add it on here, and there you have it: Morph is now Susan, and she’s husband to her husband Brenda, and together they are both mother to Harriet, who is herself the world’s first transgender baby.

Today’s creeping dystopia is not Orwellian, but Unwellian. Our society is unwell. And it is only the deep roots of Christian cultural influence, which have permeated our society for over 1,000 years, that keeps some semblance of normality going. But since the whole point of the Cultural Marxism that spawned male wives, female husbands, and transgender children with four mothers and two sperm donors is to tear those roots out of the ground and burn them on the sacrificial altar to the great god Tolerance’n’Diversity, what then? What happens when the roots are burned, and the experiment begins to reach its zenith? Any idea? The Cultural Marxists say utopia. Everything else cries dystopia. Or just cries.

    ~ Rob Slane

The issue of some people feeling anguish or discomfort because of a mismatch between their natal sex and their mental perception is a very complex one. For example, a male can say he thinks and behaves more like a woman. And a woman can say she feels more like a man. And another person can say they feel like neither, or it changes from day to day.

Ever since the birth of modern psychology, people who experienced this disunity between their mind and their body have usually been treated by trained psychologists. When professional circles viewed this mental distress as Gender Identity Disorder (GID), experts helped many individuals find the root cause of this disconnection, and a healing process could often follow.

Some methods helped many find harmony, with the individuals eventually feeling at one with their natal sex. Some citizens learned to manage this inner discord, allowing them to carry on with their lives despite some temporary ups and downs. A few were so overwhelmed by the distress caused by this issue that they ended up dressing like a member of the opposite sex, and medical professionals sometimes offered hormone replacement treatments and operations. These interventions helped some of these individuals to feel more comfortable with themselves. However, even after some medical interventions, a substantial proportion of these individuals still had unresolved psychological issues.

The research demonstrated that those who struggled with gender confusion often had a range of other psychological difficulties well before their confusion occurred. The number of transsexuals and conflicted individuals was tiny. Because society had found a reasonably successful way to deal with this challenging issue, then the vast majority of citizens found they could move forward with their lives. This left the experts to do the best they could to help these distressed individuals.

Then, a few years ago, new ideas about gender confusion began to be heard within the media. An endless onslaught of ideas about transsexuals and gender-confused individuals filled the airways. Even though at that time only about one in twenty thousand men, and one in fifty thousand women, was a transsexual, and even though the number of gender-confused individuals was also small, politicians started to inform us that we have a central role to play in helping these individuals find their proper place in our communities. Teenagers and students were especially drawn in. They were made to believe that they are pioneers in creating a new world of tolerance and equality. If only they could solve this one issue, a brand-new world of goodness would be at hand.

These new ideas did not primarily come from the experts or eminent psychologists. These new ideas came from the media and the social science departments of universities—people who had never counseled another individual for any psychological issue.

Somehow, these amateur psychologists from all over the world, all at the same time, had developed a similar new storyline about those who tussle with gender confusion. The level of collaboration was not an accident.

Over time, the basic narrative has become something like, "Gender-confused individuals do not have a psychological disorder, and therefore, they do not need counseling. They are just individuals trapped inside the body of the wrong sex. Let them have free access to operations and hormones, and they will really become members of the opposite sex. Our job, as fellow citizens, is to accept them all in their new self-declared gender, and the world will become a more tolerant place. If
