Inspire Your Children - Siau Smith
Introduction
The purpose of this book is to give you easy, quality solutions that will help you teach literacy and numeracy to young children. The idea is to instil in children a love for learning that will last forever.
The Bible says, There is nothing new under the sun
(Ecclesiastes 1:9 NKJV). In this book, I will explain how you can help children to develop their potential at home before they start school.
This book contains basic principles and skills for early childhood education and care. It is useful for parents, educators, and anyone working with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
I have always had a great interest in early childhood education and care. In the following pages I hope to promote love, respectful, trusting relationships, life skills, family values, and the importance of quality standards for all children and nationality.
I hope that the way I’ve written this information will inspire you.
The book is divided into three parts:
Part 1 discusses my belief that babies are born receptive to the development of reading skills. When parents speak, babies hear.
In Part 2, I share routines that support toddlers’ skills and development. A toddler’s work is play. Equipment and resources are very important. A toddler’s environment plays an important role in the safety, health, and wellbeing of the child and his/ her family. Spiritual training is the most essential of all early childhood education, as God knows more about our development than anyone on earth. God created babies from the womb. I believe His Word, the Bible, is true, accurate, and full of wisdom.
In Part 3, I’ll discuss how preschoolers learn educational activities while they sit peacefully, calmly and think for themselves. Preschoolers enjoy polite conversations and interactions with their family and friends. Parents, nurture your children by providing encouragement and praise. Nourish them with a well-balanced diet for growth and to protect them from illness. Meal times are special times for family and development. Everybody needs rest from work, especially children. A good rest with peace of mind makes them happy and wise. With your guidance, help, and direction, your children can be inspired to fulfil their God-given talent.
This book is valuable in content because of the wisdom of God. It will save you time and money from reading long books about parenting. It is easy to read, and straight to the point. If you have babies, you can read any of the three sections. Be inspired, and do the best you can to educate your children to be enthusiastic learners.
Chapter 1
Babies Are Born to Read
And from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:15
"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it, for the time is
