This story is written for children and adults alike. I found my love of writing from reading pure fantasy.  It is my hope that this story will increase the desire of children everywhere to read. Parents allow their imagination to grow and flow. Allow them to be children.  Don’t neglect them…simply love them.  Their needs are important too.

PREFACE

In the land of the past or maybe should I say, in the mysterious world of the imagination of a child, fairy tales live and on a daily basis… exist.  In my life, I was told a many tales, but none was as realistic as the one that came to life as an adult.  Yes, I did say that I am an adult, but this story is one that must be told.  Yes, a part of it is true, and no, I am not going to reveal any one’s real name.  Well, how should I start this one?  Should I say once upon a time like other writers did in the past or should I cut to the chase and reveal the story?  Since all tales are based upon something realistic, I honestly find myself longing to get into the story that not only gave me a new view of the world while issuing me the grand slam of all spankings that my life truly needed. This story is a blend of a many things, but if you read it completely and capture the meaning of what is being mentally displayed, you will understand why I am the way I am today and why tomorrow will always mean renewal to me.

This story begins in a very unusual place, but once I tell you about it, I want you to simply track the trail of crumbs until you find yourself lost in a forest created within your own mind.  I bet that will be an outrageous challenge if I had taken the time and the moment to create or conceive it, but to be honest, this is simply the way I think now.  I truly hope that once your mind assumes its place within the story that you will find your place to follow the ride through raging rivers, over cliffs and through the forest of time until you find yourself in a cell of your own making and my design.

CHAPTER 1

WAKE UP!!!

Arising to the sound of a multitude of children at play, Charles Dover sat up in his bed relaxing because this was a day away from the hard work and time consumption of school.  Charles was most definitely, one of his schools most brilliant students and still, he always wanted to slack off just to play with his friends.  To be completely honest, his friends, in his mind, were the chief reason why he was so brilliant.  If it wasn’t for them always talking down to him because of his appearance, his mind would not have been his only redeemable feature.  Charles was born with two different color eyes and was missing the use of an athletic body, because he was slightly on the extra-large size, but regardless of that, he was one normal, chunky, two different color eyed, eighteen year old who believes that success is the only highest level of achievement that one can obtain… and in his eyes … he was just beginning.

Briskly he put on his clothes and raced into the bathroom to take a hot shower. He knew that on this day, whether it was a weekday or a weekend, it was going to be an excellent day for a psychological adventure like building a snow fort with the young kids in the neighborhood or maybe snow play and snow fights or he may get
