Do you ever find yourself needing guidance for a big decision or a word of encouragement for your next steps? The Bible is the place to find both. God and His Word can speak into where you are today and tomorrow. . . . On the days you doubt your faith. On the days you’re not sure how to pray. On the days when you need wisdom on how to heal a relationship or build your faith. The scriptures inside these pages have been selected to lift you up and cheer you on. Here are God’s promises for you.

    PROMISES FOR EVERYDAY DECISIONSsideCircle

Each day really does come with its share of decisions—some big and some small, some very trivial and some with the potential to change the rest of your life. But all the decisions you face do have one thing in common: the opportunity for you to either handle it your own way or to let God do the deciding for you and through you.

That’s where the Bible comes in. God’s Word promises wisdom for both the big decisions and the small decisions. Let it speak to you today. Every day.

    Choosing God’s WAy

Whether you realize it or not, a spiritual battle is going on all around you. Satan is fighting for your heart, and he will make sure you have a hard time choosing the right path. So be prepared to fight and to choose God’s way—the right way.

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things.

    —Philippians 4:8

    line

When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: fear God and keep his commands, because this is for all humanity.

    —Ecclesiastes 12:13

    line

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

    —1 Corinthians 10:31

    line

You must follow the Lord your God and fear him. You must keep his commands and listen to him; you must worship him and remain faithful to him.

    —Deuteronomy 13:4

    line

You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.

    —1 Corinthians 6:19–20

    line

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.

    —Psalm 37:4

    line

No temptation has come upon you except what is common to humanity. But God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to bear it.

    —1 Corinthians 10:13

    line

Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

    —James 4:7

    line

Don’t give the devil an opportunity.

    —Ephesians 4:27

    line

Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.

    —Romans 12:12

    line

He knows his time is short.

    —Revelation 12:12

    line

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. By these he has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self–control, self–control with endurance, endurance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    —2 Peter 1:3–8

    line

Let us walk with decency, as in the daytime: not in carousing and drunkenness; not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to gratify its desires.

    —Romans 13:13–14

    line

Don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may receive what was promised.

    —Hebrews 10:35–36

    line

A noble person plans noble things; he stands up for noble causes.

    —Isaiah 32:8

    line

So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit.

    —Ephesians 5:17–18

    line

Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the
