Jimmie Aaron Kepler is a full-time nonfiction writer, novelist, poet, magazine and trade journal article writer, and award-winning short story writer.  He was born in San Antonio, Texas, to a career military father and stay at home mother. He lived in six states and attended eight different schools before graduating high school. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History degree with minors in English and Military Science, Master of Arts and Master of Religious Education degrees, as well as the Doctor of Education degree. W hat’s going on? What’s with the bloody spot? I asked, pointing to the half-dollar sized stain on the lower left front of my wife Benita’s blouse.

My heart was aching. It looked terrible, scary. I knew this couldn’t be good.
