Hi There Colette..

Tessa told me that you are busy compiling a few stories because you want it to be known that our stories – women’s stories should not go wasted and unheard? Hey!

That is a wonderful innovative way to get real stories out there into the public domain! Please include some of the stories I have told you over the years as well as this one! Because, I desperately want my stories to be a story known! So, it goes like this……………..

(Call me she – because I could be the cat’s mother)!

She was eating three slices of bread and the onion, cheese and egg with sauce when she felt the tears stream silently down her face…

Her children had asked her about the other flavoured tea she had in the cupboard. They wanted to know if it was still good to drink because she discovered just this morning, that there is only one tea bag left…

They had asked her what she will be eating this week coming and the one suggested that they only come back to her once she as money to buy food for them all.

And her grandson had called the story of ‘Romeo and Juliet – Hansel and Gretel’ and Colette, you know how much this pulls at her heart strings! Mine yes, mine.

She doesn’t want her story to be heard to damage the reputation of the nearest dearest man on this her only planet but so that other women in a similar boat can see that it is hard to live through this reality but still there is a way out than to move back in with your parents! There really is!

She is still unemployed and her dream to become a writer has not yet been realized. So she sits wondering how she will pay double her accounts this month and her rent as well as everything else that makes life the happiness it should be!

She had taken a nap after that sad sandwich and is about to hope the water is still warm enough to take a warm quick shower to go out and prep herself beautiful in case she gets called to an interview tomorrow! Tomorrow?

We always hope something great will happen tomorrow hey. Why not today?
