About this ebook
She feels frozen in place. Until a pair of prison escapees descends on her hometown…
Montana. Former MP Cache Iron's future is as clear as the whiteout conditions blanketing town. Raised among generations of strong-willed men, the feisty woman spent much of her restless childhood exploring the backcountry of her family's ranch. And now that unique knowledge is suddenly in demand when she's contracted to help police track down two suspected killers.
With the blizzard and threats of wolves pushing her to take shelter, Cache is up against the clock as sheets of white cover up every potential clue. But when she discovers her targets' lifeless bodies staining the snow red, the gritty ex-soldier comes to an inescapable conclusion: There's another murderer hidden in the trees.
Can she bring down the real threat before her shot at a new future melts away?
Cold Iron is the thrilling first book in the Cache Iron mystery series. If you like chilling secrets, desperate searches, and snowbound investigations, then you'll love Alex Blakely's icy page-turner.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Real good writing, a first book in a new series. Characters are believable & gritty. My only criticism is that the length was shorter than expected, much of this story could have been expanded with more description of each scene & a bit more fleshing out of storyline. Looking forward to new book, Hot Iron
