Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. At the camp, I started to think about how all the broken tiles and pottery got there and somehow a trilogy got created. Moreover, I love writing fantasy and sci-fi novels because you’re only limited by your imagination. In addition, I'm was an Explorer Scout and I love camping, sailing and other outdoor activities as well as cooking.Furthermore, I do quite a bit of charity work as well. For example: in early 2018 I was a part of a youth panel which was involved in creating a report with research to try and get government funding for organised youth groups and through this panel. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph. Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

The Forensic Psychology of Theft, Burglary And Property Crime - Connor Whiteley
INTRODUCTION
Forensic psychology has to be one of my favourite areas of psychology. It tells us why people commit crimes, how to treat them and how to reduce the chance of them committing the offence again.
So, whilst this book won’t be talking about the very board reach of Forensic Psychology, please know the author of this book is extremely passionate about this area!
What is This Book About?
Following the release of my main Forensic Psychology book, a lot of readers wanted me to write more about forensic psychology. So, I decided to write some shorter forensic psychology books.
This is the first of a few shorter books I plan to write. Therefore, this book is all about the psychology of theft, burglary, and other types of property crime. Including arson and pyromania. (I really enjoy that chapter!)
Including the causes, is there such thing as a criminal expert and how burglars make decisions about what to steal and more.
Who Is This Book For?
Whether you’re a psychology student, a trained professional wanting to learn more, or a person just interested in forensic psychology. Then this is the book for you!
Especially, if you want an engaging book that explains everything in an easy-to-understand way.
I never write my books like a boring dry academic textbook. So, please do not expect this book to be one.
Instead, look forward to reading a book about forensic psychology that’s interesting and explains information in an easy-to-understand way. Without all the complex jargon.
Or better yet, imagine this book as sitting down with a friend for a conversation about forensic psychology.
Who Am I?
As a reader, I always have to know that the nonfiction book, I’m reading comes from a person who knows what they’re talking about. I hate it when I want to buy a book about psychology only to find it was written by someone who never went to university.
In case, you’re like me, I’m Connor Whiteley an author of over 10 psychology books and I’m the host of the weekly The Psychology World Podcast available on all major podcast apps. Here, I talk about a different psychology topic each week and soon we’ll reach our 100th episode!
Also, I’m a psychology student at the University of Kent, England and in 2021/ 2022, I’ll be working with a team of psychology
