how to remove the blocks that prevent you from expressing yourself;
that in order to create, you must know how to surround yourself intelligently;
that the initial goal of creativity is not production, but spiritual awakening;
that there are multiple paths to healthy and inspired creativity.
You are all creative. Even if you work professionally without any connection to any form of artistic expression, your creative power is very much present within you. Sometimes you don't know how to develop it in a concrete way. Other times, you don't want to, thinking that you are not gifted. Julia Cameron, ex-wife of a filmmaker (Martin Scorsese), explains how to remove the blocks to self-expression through creativity. Indeed, these blocks can hide others, more existential, powerful enough to paralyze a whole life. Therefore, do not let yourself be led by your fears and doubts. You risk nothing more than seeing positive changes in your life. Then become the creator of your daily life, of your life, and you will see the future with much more serenity and confidence.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I liked this book because I haven't read the original book and I wanted to see an overview of what it contained. It intrigued me enough to go hunting for the full book. A lot of what they said about money was interesting.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I feel that the essence of Ms Cameron's book is lost with this summary. It's probably because it's the process of writing 3 pages/day, in response to her prompts, that is beneficial. This summary feels more goal oriented which misses the whole point i.m.o.
