Olga and Aleksey Ivanov (better known in the publishing business as O & A Ivanovs) are very much a team. They met in art school in Moscow and have worked together ever since. When they are not illustrating, they can be found hiking in the back country of the Colorado Rockies, taking in the inspiration that this amazing tableau has offered artists from around the world for centuries. They work and live with two dogs in their artist studio in Evergreen, Colorado.

It's a beautiful book, with very engaging artwork. For kids who love dogs, or those who love vehicles, I think it would be very well received. There's not much in the way of story here, but it's great for learning the names of different types of vehicles, or just looking at the pictures.

Dogs love car rides. Each two page spread has short rhymed text and colorful illustrations showing different dogs, their people, and different wheeled vehicles.

Right from the start this book had me giggling. The cover is fun and appealing. The illustrations are active and engaging. I love that they all end up together at the end.
