    INTRODUCTION

    A healthy man produces a quality result; it is for these reasons individuals should priories their health.  Health is an essential factor for the survival of humans, without good health we are as good as pure vegetables, lacking good healthy leaves.  Our inability to carry out most of our activities ourselves reduces our productivity level as well as our overall wellbeing. But at times, some of our medical issues are a result of our non- challant attitude towards our health.  Several individuals live a purely unhealthy lifestyle, with no attempt to change and this is among the major reasons why a lot of young people die early as well as get diagnosed with certain ailments and diseases. 

    However, an easy way out is here and that is you adopting a healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy and carrying out healthy practices are easy ways for you to protect yourself from certain ailments and diseases. Read on to discover the various ways you can follow to live a healthy lifestyle. Your journey of good health has begun!

    aving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle should be your major priority; just as the common phrase goes Health is wealth one should constantly pay great attention to his or her health. The reason being that being healthy allows you to carry out more activities than usual, and so without good health, one cannot actively perform. Being healthy most times depends on your lifestyle; the things you eat, the substances you consume, your thoughts, convictions about life, and many more. Before we delve deep into what being healthy is, I think it will be best to fully understand properly the concept of ‘Health.’

    WHAT IS HEALTH? 

    The word health is usually defined as the absence of a disease, illness, or infirmity of any sort. The general conception of health is the physical wellbeing of an individual as this is essential to enable an individual to carry out his or her duty adequately. Attaining physical wellbeing is usually linked with maintaining a healthy lifestyle; eating healthy meals, exercising regularly as well as taking adequate rest, all of these and more do contribute to attaining good health. However, health does not only cover the physical wellbeing of an individual, but also the mental, social and emotional wellbeing of an individual. It is said to be about the entire well-being of a human. 

    However, what is wellness? The word Wellness is known to be interconnected with Health, but then with a

    different meaning. Wellness, according to the dictionary, wellness is said to be the act of engaging in practices that can help live a healthy lifestyle. It entails healthy habits that would help you attain a healthier state in different aspects such as; physical, mental, emotional, and social and a lot more. It simply involves your overall engagements in healthy practices to help you boost your health state, as well as grant you a quality life.  

    Based on research, there are 4 different types of wellness which would be discussed below;

    Physical wellness: this dimension of wellness involves healthy habits such as; eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, taking necessary precautions as regards your health. Physical wellness enables us to take proper and adequate care

    of our health and bodies. The act of physical wellness

    leads us into constantly carrying out behavioral patterns that enable us to have a healthy lifestyle. 

    Occupational wellness: We all have a purpose on this earth; we have our various inherent skills, which on the other hand can be termed as our true intent. Occupational wellness helps us in figuring out that calling, as well as finding a balance between work and other aspects of our lives. It brings to our attention that it is important to know that our career of choice is what we love to do; the reason being that our career requires a huge amount of time and attention, and so it would be necessary for us to love what we spend so much of our time on, to ensure mental wellness.

    Intellectual wellness: This generally involves learning. It helps in engaging the mind with mental

    activities to help enhance the intellectual level of the individual. With this process, we can come up with creative and intellectual ideas, and even the potential to provide solutions to problems. 

    Spiritual wellness: This form of wellness involves your beliefs, values, and inner peace. As well as the ability to properly integrate those values in you to help you reflect on life properly. This form of wellness enables you to find the true meaning of life, understand the deeper meaning of life, and properly figure out who you are and your actual purpose in life. It gives you a form of spiritual clarity.

    Attaining and maintaining good health requires a lot from you. However, it is necessary that we all maintain a healthy lifestyle to gain wellness in the physical aspects of our life.

    WHAT IS A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?

    A healthy lifestyle is simply our way of life and how we live our lives; do we get ourselves involved in activities that are wholly unhealthy to us, or consume meals or substances that are harmful to us? If yes, then we are far from living a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is what guarantees a blooming
