Introduction:
As a matter of reality, everything has its roots answering to the spiritual commands of The Living God. He is the Sovereign authority above everything that exists, above all plans of men. By it, the Lord created and by His authority He rules above all. He has set up a chart of divine principles through which He rules.
His set chart is displayed through the scriptures, and through it, we learn His plan and purpose. By this, we know that there is a predestined purpose for every one of us under the heavens. More than just truth, He is the sole originator of everything.
We shall then recognize that He is the Lord of Lords and also;
1. Acknowledge that it is Him who works in us to make us perfect.
2. Accept that He both activates the WILL and the WORK in us for His own good pleasure.
I have come to realize that the greatest favor we can do for Him is to live like Christ. We might try and maybe not be as perfect, but we live because He is the one who perfects us.
James 1:17-18 NKJV
17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
18. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.
––––––––
Seeing that He creates every good thing in us and has published us by the foundation of truth, we are now supposed to play our part and be faithful. This includes:-
1. See (watching) - meaning creating Awareness
2. Learn (-ing) - supporting Apprenticeship
3. Activate (-ing) - meaning Putting your discovery into practice
4. Experience - needed for facilitating Mastery
5. Impact (action) - for Transmission and advancement
We see and watch to create awareness and thus learn for the apprenticeship. We activate the knowledge by practicing to discover more hidden truths, and we seek experience to prove our mastery worthy of our calling. Through impartation, we can bear fruits by raising others, and our generations can live with the knowledge of God.
By this, it is clear that transformation is not an event but a journey of life through which we are brought to realize who or what we were created to be. It is a process in which we grow in a guided manner, being prepared for the predestined purpose of God.
I thus have found a relentless urge in me and desire to be that person that God planned and designed me to be from the beginning. For the good pleasure of my God, I thus share some little knowledge that we can share and profit from the knowledge that the Lord has invested in me.
The journey of transformation is not easy; it demands a hand in hand co-operation with the Lord. It is neither a journey you can walk all alone without the company of fellow brethren; we all need a fellowship that we can grow in as a flock.
We learn better when we receive the Lord as a corporate team than when one stands alone. We also learn the word at different levels from the beginning and so grow up spiritually at different intervals.
That is why we are well mentored by those who have gone this way before us. It is also why God raises teachers, prophets, apostles, pastors and evangelists amongst us, that everyone can be transformed into the image of God; into what God intends of us and serves the purpose of which we were created.
Everyone transforms their life by how receptive, cooperative and active they are in the pursuit for God and His righteousness. I have thus found the need to create a journal and invite God into my life in every possible way. Read through the book, and buy my idea; I believe we can do this together.
CHAPTER ONE:
TRUTH OF THE MATTER (Seeing It through the Eyes of God)
As I said from the beginning, God is the originator of everything we can see; heavens, earth, the universe, human nature, and other living beings. Bearing that in mind, we thus understand that God is the greatest engineer there could ever be.
He formed the earth with different elements of different shapes, different dimensions, different everything. I like the 3D factor of matter.
But in this case, I am going to rename it in the Holy Spirit and call it the 3 T factor. The 3D factor is where you see things in 3 dimensions (length, width, height). It is scientifically invented and approved, but it has its roots in the spiritual.
The original engineer (God) used it to design everything we see, including the smallest particle we call An Atom.
However, it does not all count with length, width, and height, like physical science.
This is about spirituality, not philosophy or religion, but the personified spiritual matter. Thus, by 3 T, the three dimensions of the matter, powered by a spiritual anointing and not by the atomic composition.
We well know that matter is anything that can occupy space and has weight, and an atom is the smallest particle of a substance that can move and cause change. Now buy that idea and bring it to the supernatural; you will soon get my point. By 3 T, I mean
- Transformation
- Transition
- Transmission
These three factors are intertwined, and they work to validate each other. They run in an all-life-round motion that breaks only when we are no more functional (spiritually and mentally). God scheduled us to see, learn, practice, and activate the anointing, Master the attributes of our equipped calling, and finally advance by imparting to others. Now, here is how it works;
––––––––
TRANSFORMATION
I have chosen it as the base according to my observation; for this is where it all begins. Transformation can either happen naturally, supernaturally, or by acts of humans. It is the conditional process that facilitates changes in life, all happening in a static projection where work, faith, and time are the seed elements.
It involves both the state and the action to make a complete cycle in the process of getting transformed; from one personality to another and from one spiritual location to another. That is why salvation is more of a journey as much as it is a state in somebody's life.
We know well that the word of God is a living spirit; thus, when we study, believe in it, and practice it, we are on the track of transformation. There is a script about one Ethiopian Eunuch who was on this chariot, reading the scripts from the book of Isaiah but could not understand.
When he invited Apostle Philip on his chariot, the Apostle made known to Him all that was true. The Eunuch took the step of faith, and before he got to his destination, he was a transformed man.
Acts 8:27-39 NKJV
27. So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship,
28. was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.
29. Then the Spirit said to Philip, Go near and overtake this chariot.
30. So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, Do you understand what you are reading?
31. And he said, How can I, unless someone guides me?
And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.
32. The place in the Scripture which he read was this:
"He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth.
33. In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth."
34. So the eunuch answered Philip and said, I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?
35. Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
36. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?
37. Then Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may.
And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38. So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.
39. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
It seems that the Eunuch had a tendency to read the scriptures but didn’t have a revelation. He asked Philip. How do I know unless I’m told I
taught?"
The human spirit is generally repellant to the truth in the word of God. But the Eunuch, having been born of a heathen world and leading a secular life, accepted the Lord quite fasts. The power of God's word worked on His faith within a short time and brought a lifetime change.
This is what happened to each one of us when we accepted Jesus. We are not a result of carnal or secular forces that work around us, but a good seed created through the word of God.
Ephesians 4:22-24 NKJV
22. That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
23. and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24. and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Saint Agustin said, Truth is like a lion; release it, and it will defend itself.
Though the Eunuch used to go to worship in Jerusalem, no one told him about Jesus. By his belief, no force on earth or in heaven would stop him from salvation and baptism.
The heavens sent an angel to Philip and Philip left for the task, an indication that it happened by divine intervention.
In this same manner, does our faith and practice of the word of God transform us from newborn Christian to the destined vessels in Christ. God trains us to live in His will and brings us to tests that are meant to transform us. Some of the adversities we face are tests that God has fashioned to transform our hearts (believes), our minds, and life in general.
I have been asking myself why God knew that David was a man after His own heart; then led him in the wilderness. He ran from Saul for almost 17 years, no big crime he committed against the king. Later it came to my revelation through the Psalmist;
Psalms 119:71 NKJV
71. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.
Now it is clear to me that training and tests are a part of the game of life. Bishop T.D Jakes once taught and said that; God anoints us in trouble.
When we face the challenges through the word of God, we are transformed instead of perishing; we get renewed instead of being eliminated.
However, this is not a one-time activity but a lifetime process by which reading and practicing the word is a lifestyle. Apostle Paul taught:
Romans 12:2 NKJV
2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
