The Number One Fan's, Number One Fan - Francois Keyser
The Number One Fan’s,
Number One Fan
Chapter 1
One meeting.
That was all it took.
Hugo called it love at first sight. He didn’t believe in the phenomenon though. He didn’t believe in love. Period.
He had always believed his twin brother, Grayston felt the same but as he watched Grayston now, he realized he had been wrong about his brother.
A knock at the door announced Emma. She had won a backstage pass in a competition titled ‘Number One Fan’ from a local radio station to meet Grayston after his concert tonight.
Grayston opened the door. He paused, speechless as he took in Emma. He realized he was staring and recovered quickly. Stepping back, he invited her in, Come in!
Emma was shy but excited as she entered the room. She shook Grayston’s hand. He marveled at the softness of her hand and reluctantly released it when she withdrew it.
Thank you. It’s such an honor to meet...
Emma spotted Hugo in the corner and froze, her brow furrowing in confusion.
Grayston closed the door and smiled when he saw Emma looking at Hugo.
Which one of you is...?

Hugo stood and crossed to Emma. He did not smile and shook her hand coldly. Hi, Emma.

Grayston indicated his chair and pulled up another for himself.
Emma sat. She seemed suddenly uncertain of being here.
How do people know who is who?
People who know us can tell,
Grayston replied. He had hardly taken his eyes
