INTRODUCTION

Myself, Amitab Doshi, an Automobile engineer, was born and brought up in Mumbai. Chennai was my next destination and till date I dwell here since 1989 for business. Life as tailored for a common man was pacing on. The life took a turn for better. When I happened to come in contact with national saint Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb Jain Monk in 2012. With his blessings and able guidance, I just tried to scribble something in my mother tongue Gujarathy and next was history.

All those writings are now translated in English and Tamil, the contents being my precious moments of life and its experiences. The first book in gujarathy was titled as ‘Palma Param.’ published in February 2020. The book was on its way since 2002. When in Chennai I got an opportunity to give my services to C. U. Shah Clinic of Shree Gujarati Sthanakwasi Jain Association, under able guidance of Shri Prafulbhai Ramniklal Shah, as directed by Shri Pravinbhai Shantilal Turakhia (My fatherly figure- brother-in-law), I am sincerely grateful to both of them.

During these charitable activities, in 2012, I happened to come in contact with Rashtra Sant Param Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb, Jain Monk, A national saint. It was his blessings and strong influence that I penned for the first time. In course of time, many articles were written which were encouraged by Group of Janmabhoomi by giving them place in their various newspapers.

Also, eminent Gujarati poet, writer, the legendary Dr. Yashwant Trivedi included my articles in his books, which added to pace of my writing. Now the same book is getting published in short span of 9 months, in Tamil and English. This is an achievement for a writer which I attribute my elder sister Hemlata Turakhia, Brother Hitesh Doshi and his wife, Alka,

my life partner Parul, and my beloved sons Nirav, Niraj, my lovely friends and fans. My journey to this destination was impossible without you all.

The second book in English which happened with in the span of four months is titled as ‘The Moments’. I have put before the moments through this book for welfare of people, to guide them, to help them through hard times. I sincerely pray Almighty to bless you all with divine moments and happiness always.
