We must not fold arms in the midst of battle. The life is battle itself. We need to pray and cancel decisions of darkness against us. We are born to win not to lose. Many times we lose out because we don’t know how to pray or go about challenges we face.

Brethren, your case is not close until you decide to close it. Don’t give up, fight on in faith, you are born to win. Be violent in prayer. The degree of your violence in prayer determines the victory that awaits you. It is time you count spoils not loss, triumph not defeat.

WHY ATTACK ON CHILDREN?

Let me start by asking important questions. Why attack on children? Why should Satan catch you at your unguided hour? Why does he want to see your children in the lagoon of problems? Why is he waiting patiently to bring you down at your unguided hour or at your weak time? The 'simple answer to these is that Satan wants to wrestle your happiness and heavenly sit from you.

Parents, know that -----we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12. This is why satanic attack must not, be a surprise to anyone. Therefore, parents and children inclusive should be equipped with the whole armour of God that will disgrace every form of power of darkness fashioned against them. It is when parents take this step, that their children will not be causalities in the battle of life. Parents, teach your children the art of prayers, stop them from digging their graves or dine with spirit of grave diggers!

Another vital reason why Satan attacks children is his willingness to bring into perfection his wicked intention of destruction. He thinks if he finds it difficult to destroy parents due to their knowledge, he may find it easy to attack children as a result of their free attitude towards life.

Satan attack, whenever he realizes that parents acted contrary to the word of God or word of knowledge. For example, there are occasions when 'children deliverance' are announced but taken lightly or not hearken to by parents.

Satan use such as an excuse to attack families. Parents should know that whenever the word of knowledge or program is announced it may be, it was pronounced purposely to save your child or children. And when you do not hearken to it, Satan may strike. Who then is to be blamed? Parent of course.

Many parents use their tongues wrongly by inviting troubles and attacks upon their children. Tongue has power and life, Proverbs 26:22. Parents that curse or tongue lashes their children bring problems upon them. Parents know that you give Satan an opportunity whenever you wrongly use your tongue against your children.

Satan strikes whenever he realizes that a child is unnecessarily occupied with worry of life. As Satan realizes this he will strike. The spirit Satan uses to accomplish this aim is called grave digger spirit. It is called so because children that live such life invite untimely death into their lives. Such children are always fond of being in a haste to achieve many things at a time and when they fail to succeed, they become worried. And hence an opportunity is opened to Satan. Worry kills more youths than does work. Children should endeavor to know that, yesterday is a cancelled cheque, today is cash in hand while tomorrow is a promissory note. Then, why in a haste? Worry is a faith killer. It is the ancestor of fear. It is the over ambitiousness of children that gives Satan room to strike. It is a spiritual disease!

From beginning, Satan knew that children are special candidate of heaven. The special love demonstrated by Jesus confirmed this. He rebuked his disciples that wanted to stop them from seeing him. He told his disciples; suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me for of such is the kingdom of heaven Mathew 19:13

Our Lord Jesus made this declaration because of the simplicity of mind usually exhibited by children. They do not often habour evil in their minds. But the bottom-line is that such declaration saddened Satan, and hence he forged his satanic move to retaliate through destructive means.

Satan knew that in the nearest future these children would eventually become pillars of the family. Hence, he prefers to destroy these future pillars before they form any substantial 'tap root' that can support them or enable them sail through the storm of life.

He labeled youths and children for destruction at their prime age because he knew they form vital position in the church. God is raising pastors, Pentecostal evangelists, end time prophets and prophetess, strong visionaries and teachers of great repute of our time. Youths, including your children are earmarked to carry out these exploits for God. To this, Satan is not happy. He is furious and above all he hates defeat

Our children need to be incubated with fresh fire. This has been prophesied in 1 John 2:14, I have written unto you, young men because you are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and you have overcome that wicked one Satan hate this prophesy and so he decided to strike first before these youths compose themselves. Parents, you can now see that the battle line is drawn. Your children must not lose to Satan.

The Lord promised youths and children strength, vision and prophecy to excel in the last days. Acts 2:17-18 says, And it shall come to pass in the last days saith God, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on my servants and on my handmaids. I will pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy

God knows your children ever before they were formed. Just like Jeremiah, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou comest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations Jeremiah 1:5.

It is when parents are able to remove limit of slavery, captivity and bondage on children that their ambition, enthusiasm, and aspiration will enable them fulfill dream of freedom, peace, joy and abundance.
